Holiday Rental House
Le Bois Hannelais is a very attractive stone farmhouse in a peaceful hamlet, , half way between the wonderful town of Dinan and the safe sandy beaches of the north coast. The house has been lovingly restored by the current owners and with four bedrooms, large kitchen / dining room and a private enclosed garden, the house is good choice for the larger family group. You can watch the children play in the garden from the sunny terrasse. A 10 minute drive will bring you to the medieval town of Dinan with its intact ramparts, castle and many restaurants. Dinan's port is also great for bike and boat hire, which lead you along the river Rance, with its picturesque scenery. A short drive north will take you to the coast - St Jacut de la Mer is close and has a series of safe family beaches. About the neighbourhood
The cottage is in peaceful countryside , a couple of minutes drive from Languenan , a small Breton town with a bakery , bar and shop. Medieval Dinan can be reached in about 10 minutes by car - here you can find an unspoilt historic centre with many fine half timbered buildings which now are the home of bakeries, independent shops and artists galleries. The town is surrounded by impressive stone ramparts and there is also a well preserved castle. There is a good selection of restaurants , cafés and bistros catering for all budgets. The nearest beach is at St Jacut de la Mer, about 15 minutes in the car, and Dinard , St Malo and the beautiful coast can easily be reached,
How to get there
Brittany Ferries run regular services to Saint Malo which is about 30 minutes drive away. The ferry ports of Roscoff,Caen and Cherbourg are about 2 hours on the fast French road network. Ryanair fly to Dinard airport which is about 20 minutes away , and here you can pick up a hire car.
