This beautifully converted barn is completely self contained accommodation. The Granary is set up with a large lounge in one half of this huge barn, this lounge is not rented out or occupied with the Granary rental. Situated up a private driveway with no immediate neighbours thses 2 properties are surrounded by fields. The large shady walnut tree beside the barn offers plenty of shade. Thank you for your lovely review. We are pleased to say that in Spring 2014 we are installing a heat pump for the swimming pool. This will make for a better pool temperature for our guests. Hope to see you again in the future.

The open plan layout of the barn gives an wonderful feeling of spaciousness with 3 large patio doors opening up to the south and south west of the property. With views across the fields and over to the local chateau the atmosphere is one of peace and tranquility. This beautifully converted barn is complete self contained accommodation. Offering beautiful views over fields and woods this idyllically positioned barn makes an ideal rental property for couples looking for romantic breaks or house hunting trips to purchase french property. Situated up a private driveway with no immediate neighbours these 2 properties are surrounded by fields. Both properties have their own private space, neither imposes on the other. Separate terraces with plenty of outside garden furniture and BBQs.The large walnut tree beside the barn offers plenty of shade. The 10 x 5 metre heated swimming pool is situated to the right of the barn and is in full sun all day. With a gazebo and sun loungers this idyllic pool offers lovely views. The Granary is tastefully furnished. The kitchen has oven and hob, double sink, American fridge freezer and washing machine. The spacious entrance hall is tiled with local stone giving it unique character. The dining area, with its large oak table, offers stunning views over the Dordogne countryside. The lounge area has comfy chairs and wood burning stove for those winter evenings snuggled infront of the fire. With three sides of the barn having terrace there is plenty space for either sunny or shady areas. With 3 Bedrooms upstairs, one double en suite, with bath, one twin and one single the Granary comfortably sleeps 5 people. The main bathroom has bath, separate shower, basin and toilet. There is an additional toilet and basin on the ground floor. All the bedrooms are tastefully furnished with sumptious fixtures and fittings. Luxurious matresses of high quality. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed. All the bedrooms offer great views from their dorma windows. Often during the balmy summer evenings passing deer can be seen from The Granary. There is an abundance of wildlife, birdlife and assortment of wild flowers, with wild orchids growing in the verges leading to Lavaud
