It is an upmarket development of very large apartments which is unusual considering the proximity to the city centre. We are set back on a quiet street yet close to the Cathedrals, the Guinness factory, St Stephen's Green, Camden street, Trinity College and the famous Temple Bar. The penthouse is a Modernist loft-style apartment in a building that was converted from a textile factory and features high ceilings and original vintage parquet wooden flooring. There is an abundance of light flooding through the many large windows and there are three outside areas to enjoy the views and sunset. The penthouse is dual aspect with an abundance of space including two living areas, so you'll have tons of room to enjoy your stay. As the penthouse is set on two floors it is like having two luxurious suites for couples or families to enjoy their own separate living and sleeping areas, while being able to gather together in the newly renovated fabulous large kitchen and separate dining area. The penthouse is also great for groups of up to 6 people as the upstairs Living-room can be used as a 3rd. bedroom and is suitable for sleeping one adult on the large sofa and another on a pull out single bed. There is a lift for easy access to the apartment. There is high speed wifi throughout and 3 TV's with multiple channels and Netflix. We can offer early check-ins on your arrival if there has not been a booking the previous day, and late check-out if there is not a follow on booking. SUMMARY: In all there is a large kitchen, a very large living/dining area with a 65' TV, two bedrooms with king size beds and a another bedroom/Living-room to accommodate an extra adult or two children on the large L-shaped sofa. There is also a 50' TV in this room. There are 2 luxurious bathrooms with underfloor heating, 2 furnished balconies and a furnished terrace overlooking the city and the Dublin mountains with lovely sunset views. Our decor is modern and uncluttered. From my fashion/interior background, I have a passion for fabrics and texture which is evident in the use of beautiful Irish linen curtains, a large Missoni wall hanging and bespoke sofa, Natuzzi furniture and rugs, and vibrant silk and cotton velvet soft furnishings and curtains. Glass and crystal are other strong elements in use and the numerous dimming light fittings create many different moods around the home. There is also a collection of Murano glass peppered here and there and some collector lighting pieces. Downstairs:- A very large living room with a dining area and a west facing balcony. The large separate kitchen comes equipped with all the regular appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine and TV. . We will leave a complimentary breakfast welcome pack for your arrival and all the basic cooking ingredients and pantry ingredients are there for your use. The huge master king bedroom comes with large sliding wardrobes for guests private use. There is a luxury en-suite with a large powerful rainwater shower. and two basins with vanities. Quality bedding, towels, robes, toiletries and hair dryer are provided for you. Off the bedroom is a full width west-facing balcony with seating to enjoy the views of Dublin city and mountains. Upstairs:- The second king size bedroom offering the same quality bedding, towels, robes, toiletries and hair dryer.. There is a large wardrobe for your sole use. The expansive window offers great views. On this floor there is the large fabulous bathroom with separate powerful rainwater shower enclosure and bath tub. The mood lighting sets the scene for a relaxing soak. Then there is the third generous comfy sitting-room/bedroom that can accommodate the extra sleeping area for 2 extra guests. Folding doors from this room lead to a furnished west facing terrace to enjoy the sunset (or afternoon sunbathing if you're lucky with the weather!). There is a key to lock the terrace doors if children are staying. There is a newly installed open plan office depot here on the large landing. I love my comforts so all bed linen is 600 thread count Egyptian cotton and the towels, duck feather and down pillows and duvets are of luxury hotel quality. The beds are very comfortable and together with the heavy linen blackout curtains guarantee a great night's sleep.

Our neighbours living here in The Warehouse are very nice people who enjoy this unique building and are very respectful of all residents. We want you to feel at home here and really enjoy your visit, but loud music is restricted after 11pm. Excessive disruptive noise in or around the apartment is not permitted. No parties or extra guests allowed (unless previously agreed). Smoking only on the balconies and terrace. not in the apartment.

Great all the way around!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was wonderful...the townhouse itself was perfect! Comfortable, clean, well appointed and stylish (inspired when I came home to do some renovations:-). Our hosts left a booklet that answered questions and offered suggestions as to restaurants and things to do. It was appreciated...they were also available by phone, text and email to answer questions. They even set up breakfast foods for us. Cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning. Thank you Carmel!!!

Special. Exquisitely special
We considered changing the locks and moving in. The apartment is and extraordinary and remarkably efficient dwelling at the same time. Think where the light switch should be and it’s there. Every detail is both precise and lovely. We live in a very nice apartment in NYC. But it pales by comparison to this treasure. Oh, and the shower is positively decadent. If you are mildly religious and shy, you may not be able to endure the luxury .

Excellent vacation in Dublin
I was visiting Dublin for a wedding and needed a place to stay with my family. It was so nice to be greeted by the owner upon our arrival from Canada. Carmel was very helpful in informing us about great restaurants in the area and the best tourist attractions to check out that were local. The apartment has a great feel to it, It’s large with lots of natural light and and beautifully decorated. It’s within walking distance to lots of great shopping, restaurants and bars. I was very impressed with the bedding and towels, all great qualitty, these details are important to me. I can’t wait to go back and I will definitely stay here again if it’s available.

Dublin City Centre Penthouse
This penthouse is an absolute gem! Perfectly appointed, spotless and loaded with amenities ​ including the most fabulous bathrooms.​ The lighting and decor, linens and MANY other things added to this being a A++ experience for us. The location is perfect, and we were able to walk all over and when we returned home, we enjoyed the beautiful balconies looking out over the city. We arrived at the end of our trip after touring the country & it was great to have off- street parking in a ​safe, ​locked car park. John and Carmel made sure that we were welcomed and their home is just as advertised. It is about a 2​0​ minute walk to the Dublin Spire, but close​r​ to St. Stephen's Green, the Guinness Storehouse and the Teeling's Distillery. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. We recommend it without hesitation & it was pretty close to perfect !!

5 stars in Dublin - what an amazing place to stay!
Exceeded our expectations in all ways! Greatly appreciated the luxury linens and draperies(made room nice and dark which helped with jet lag). Could not ask for better hosts - Carmel and John were awesome in every way. Personally met us at their home. We were welcomed with wine, chocolates and breakfast items. Quiet neighborhood, could get taxis easily, close to St. Patrick's Cathedral!! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Even better than the pictures. Amazing kitchen and bathrooms! Our family - husband, myself and our three 20-something kids had a great time and everyone had enough space. Public buses available very close, short 5 minute walk to a hop-on hop-off Newmarket stop. 10 minute walk to Camden Row with great restaurants. We would definitely choose to stay here again if the opportunity arose! What a great week - thank you so very much!

How to get there
Here are the driving instructions for a taxi from the airport. It would be handy to have this printed off if you can. The best route to take is to approach the city via DORSET STREET which becomes BOLTON STREET. & then becomes KING STREET NORTH. Turn LEFT onto CHURCH STREET and cross the river onto BRIDGE STREET. Turn LEFT onto HIGH STREET and then RIGHT at CHRISTCHURCH CATHEDRAL onto PATRICK STREET. Continue down PATRICK ST. passing ST. PATRICK'S CATHEDRAL. Continue STRAIGHT at the junction at the Cathedral and after approx. 100 metres, you will reach a small intersection with traffic lights. There is a pub on the right hand corner called PEADAR BROWN'S. Take a right turn at these lights onto MALPAS STREET. At the end of this short street turn left onto BLACKPITTS. After about 50 meters, you will see WARRENMOUNT SCHOOL (with colourful wall mural) on the right-hand side. Take the LEFT turn directly opposite the school into CLANBRASSIL TERRACE. (Do not pass the school gates as you will have gone too far!). Pull in near the corner and the apartment block is on the LEFT. The full address for the apartment is 35 The Warehouse Clanbrassil Terrace Dublin 8. D08NH50 At the gate on Clanbrassil Terrace ( opposite a row of 2-story terraced yellow brick houses). There is a sign on the building saying' THE WAREHOUSE'. This is the correct gateway. There is a keypad by the gate. Press 0035 followed by the symbol for 'KEY' (bottom right button). This will buzz our intercom and we can let you in through the gate and come down to meet you there. If this fails for some reason, ring or text me on my mobile phone:- . It would be great if you can text me when you get into your taxi so that we can determine your ETA and keep an eye out for you. Please put my number into your phone to have to hand.
