Our holiday home is a semi detached cottage situated in a quiet cul-de-sac setting in the Dalfaber area of Aviemore and in the heart of the stunning Cairngorms National Park. The cottage is only a short walk from the leisure facilities, shops, bars and restaurants offered in Aviemore village. The cottage is an ideal base for an active or relaxing holiday at any time of the year. Aviemore is easily accessible by car, bus or train and the cottage is within walking distance of the bus stop and train station. The accommodation consists of hall with WC/cloakroom off, living room with solid oak flooring, dining area and woodburning stove, two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has over-bath shower. Storage heaters in lounge and rear hall and kitchen. Electric heaters in bedrooms, bathroom and WC. Cot and high chair available on request. Fully enclosed and very private south facing rear garden with view towards Cairngorms. An initial supply of logs and kindling for the woodburning stove is provided. If necessary additional supplies of logs and kindling are available to purchase from several sources in Aviemore.More

Quiet location and a short walk to the centre of Aviemore. Property was clean and comfortable and the owner was extremely helpful. Perfect! We liked it so much, we’ve booked to return next year.

House in great location, easy walk to centre of Aviemore. Lovely note from owners to welcome us. Good that they allow pets as our retriever loved it. Very cosy, loved the log burner after long walks.

Getting around
Although a car is desirable it is not essential. The magnificent countryside and scenery of the Cairngorms National Park can be accessed easily on foot or on bicycle. Cairngorm Mountain and neighbouring villages in the Spey Valley can also be reached by local bus services.
How to get there
Aviemore is easily accessible whether or not you have a car. It is just off the A9 and well served by buses from the south and central belt of Scotland. There is a train station within walking distance of the cottage.
