Dalfaber House, Aviemore
Nice modern house set on the edge of a wooded golf course. Well furnished with a decent range of crockery, bedding etc making for a very happy family holiday The owner, Kev, is helpful and responsive without being intrusive.
.It's about 1.5 miles or so from the centre of Aviemore. Aviemore itself has all necessary shops, places to eat and of course it's in an outstanding area of natural beauty.
All in all highly recommended.

Had a fabulous stay in this very cozy, comfortable family house.
Really enjoyed our trip to Aviemore. This house is very well equipped and so much thought has gone into making it home from home.Beds very comfortable.
The room upstairs is amazing, so much space. Grandson loved it!
There is a sitting room downstairs which could be useful if you wanted quiet time. Safe outdoor area.
Plenty to do in the area. We went to Landmark and the Wildlife park, both were great fun.
Kevin and his brother were very helpful and quick to respond to questions .
We hope to be back!

Dalfaber House
Wow, what a perfect place to stay the scenery was so beautiful there is so much you can do. Aviemore has a lot to offer.
Dalfaber House is in a quiet road about a 20 minutes walk to the centre of Aviemore. There is a Co op, fish and chip shop and pizza takeaway 5 minutes walk. Spey Valley Golf Club is a short walk and there are plenty of walking/cycling routes nearby too.
The house has all that you need with Sky TV in 2 lounges the upstairs lounge is enormous. The house can easily have 2 families or a large group of friends.
Kevin is a great host and very easy to speak to.

Great House

We loved it .
This is a lovely spacious modern house in a residential area of Aviemore . Once inside it feels like you are in the countryside as the majority of the windows face the back garden which looks out onto a wooded area with the golf course behind . All the basics are provided like cling film , tin foil , dishwasher tablets , freezer packs etc and this was much appreciated.
The upstairs lounge is amazing to relax in of an evening and the variety of board games provided is excellent.
The master bedroom bed could probably benefit from a new mattress or a mattress topper but this is a minor issue and in no way affected our enjoyment .
The house has a nice ambiance and we all felt very much at home in it from the start . We have stayed in other houses in and around Aviemore but this was definitely the best and we plan to return next year .

Excellent, spacious house for adventure holidays in Aviemore
Dalfaber House is a well equipped, spacious, comfortable base in a quiet location close to Aviemore. The upstairs lounge is amazing and provides a large communal area to relax in. There is a south facing patio and garden with a picnic table and barbeque with views over birch woodland and the golf course. A large garage provides secure storage for bikes, skis and other outdoor equipment and includes a drying room for wet coats and ski equipment. There is ample parking for up to 3 cars. A small Co-op supermarket, bike hire and the Cairngorm Brewery are less than a 10 minute walk away. Central Aviemore is around 25 minutes walk or a few minutes by car or bike. The house is adjacent to the Route 7 cycle route which provides access to Aviemore, Boat of Garten, Kincraig, the Logging Trail and Rothiemurchus Estate on easy off road routes or quiet roads. We cycled and walked everywhere, very handy when the Bridge Inn is on the way back!. We really enjoyed our stay here and intend to return in the future. Well recommended.

Fantastic house great place to stay
Great location near Spey Valley Golf Course .
Fantastic house with everything you will need for fantastic stay.
We loved the upstairs room with lounge and tv area and then the table for playing games etc.
Great set up downstairs with the 3 bedrooms,living room and 2 bathrooms and separate toilet.
Easy 15 minute walk to center of Aviemore and numerous walking and cycle paths.
This was our second stay and will definitely be back .
By far the best rental house we have stayed in Scotland.

Special Birthday Weekend
Just back from a perfect long weekend at Dalfaber House. Accommodation is 5 star. Spacious and very clean with beautiful views. Everything you need is catered for. Living areas and bedrooms are of a very high standard. The upstairs area is lovely to spend evenings. Lots of entertainment available. Thank goodness for a return week in June. Cannot wait

Faultless accommodation
Just returned from a stay in this beautiful property a 20 minute walk from town centre. Lots of space out front for private parking and even more inside, comfortably sleeping up to 8 people. We made use of the barbecue, log fire and the kids loved the upstairs level of the house. Our 2 dogs were well catered for too with great walks right on the doorstep. Communication from Kev was excellent before and after visit and we look forward to our next visit to Dalfaber House.

Immediately adjacent to the new Spey Valley championship golf course, Dalfaber House offers an ideal base for a golf holiday — with convenient access to one of the UK’s finest courses in a beautiful setting. there are many other local golf courses nearby in neighbouring villages e.g. Boat of Garten, Kingussie.
Family/Outdoor activities:
In the heart of the Highlands, at the foot of the Cairngorms, Dalfaber House is an ideal base for a family or an active holiday.
Excellent skiing and watersports facilities are within a few minutes’ drive, and there are also opportunities for walking and cycling in addition to fishing and shooting.
Getting around
Cycling on and off road is a great way to get around and keep fit with National Cycle Network route 7 and sections of the Speyside Way suitable for cycling along with the many forestry trails and tracks. Bikes or electric bikes can be hired too locally.
