Sunny, Bright, traditional Victorian flat 25 min walk from the city centre and just 13 mins. by bus to Princes Street gardens. The flat is furnished to an excellent standard, super clean, with 3 different areas to sleep. Ideal for a family or friends.
The flat itself has two bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen and living area with television and a sofa bed, a bathroom with bath. All the windows get sunshine and are double glazed, so the flat is quiet and warm.
The main bedroom receives a lot of light from a wide South-facing window. it contains a queen-sized bed.
The second, camarote-style box bedroom has also a double bed.

The location is really great, around 30mn walking from the city center and there are many buses as well if you're not in the mood to walk; and around 10mn walking from Murrayfield stadium, good to know if you go to Edinburgh for a rugby...More

About the neighbourhood
The flat overlooks the only functioning brewery in town and is a two minute walk from a beautiful park and the canal, which offers a picturesque 30 minute walk into town. The surrounding Shandon and Gorgie area offers a wide array of pubs, cafés, shops and restaurants a few minutes from the front door.
There are several supermarkets just a couple of minutes walk.
Next to the canal there is a beautiful park with a play area for children.


There is frequent direct bus service available to the Royal Mile. -23 minutes & Castle - 23 minutes.

Dalry swimming pool is also about 15 minutes walk.

- We recommend you to download the Lothian buses App while you are in Edinburgh.
It will help you to decide what stop to go to travel into the centre of town and back, the bus you need to take, the time at which the will arrive and the time it will take you to reach your destination. All buses have wifi.

There is free parking on the street outside the flat.
Please note that the section of road leading down from Slateford Road is one-way. You should leave via Stewart Terrace and then join Gorgie Road
AIRPORT
Bus route 35 From outside the Airport £1.70 (exact money) - Ask driver to let you off at Caledonian Brewery stop. It takes about 30 minutes
A taxi will take about 15 to 20 minutes maximum and charge about £15.
The airport bus (not recommended)costs £8 return (takes about 20 min) and you would need to get off at Haymarket train station.
Train
From Haymarket it would take 15 mins. to walk to the flat.
Bus services 25, 27, 33, 28, 44 and 44a and 4 take you to Stewart terrace.
A taxi would take 3 min and cost about £4.
