Lounge Within the lounge there are two windows both looking out onto the Grassmarket and Edinburgh Castle (complete with working shutters), original Georgian Fire Place and original wooden panelling to the walls additional to this, there are two sofa's one of which is a sofa bed (which could sleep another 2 people), TV and DVD player as well as cable TV and free broadband internet/Wi-Fi. Kitchen The traditional style kitchen is well stocked with all utensil's and cooking equipment required for a comfortable stay (including fan assisted oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, washing/dryer, dishwasher, table and chairs and all the other things you expect). Bedroom 1 The main bedroom again boasts excellent views of the Grassmarket and Edinburgh Castle (complete with working shutters), the original Georgian Fire Place, double bed, wardrobe, drawers and bedside cabinets and lamps. Bedroom 2 This second bedroom comes with double bed, wardrobe, drawers and bedside cabinets and lamps and original working shutters on the windows Shower Room Within the contemporary shower room there is a large walk-in shower, sink, toilet, large mirror (with light). Bed Linen & Towels Bed linen provided and towels are provided free of charge (if your stay is longer than 7 days a changeover of fresh clean bed linen and towels will be arranged). Internet Access & Cable TV As previously mentioned the flat comes with free broadband internet/Wi-Fi and cable TV

Fantastic accommodation. Great location. As it says in previous reviews, it is noisey at night but adds to the entertainment and city vibe. Very spacious rooms and lovely to find milk, tea, coffee, sugar and shortbread on arrival. Will definitely be booking again.

Nicely located right off the Royal Mile. I had my entire family of 5 in this flat. Two nice bedrooms and sofa rolls out into sleeper. Road/city noise is typical for this area..bring earplugs if this is a problem. My family thoroughly enjoyed this flat.

How to get there
By Train - Exit the station at Waverley Bridge (the other exit from the train station is onto Princes Street). Now, facing the castle, go left on Waverley Bridge and walk to the end where there is a small mini-roundabout. Turn right here onto Market Street and walk up the hill to the end and turn left on the Mound. Follow this road round and up to the traffic lights. Continue through the lights onto George IV Bridge (it does not look like a bridge) and then turn right at Victoria Street. Walk down to the bottom of this street and you have reached your destination.
