Met with Laura the owner on arrival, she was so helpful and friendly.
Met with Laura the owner on arrival, she was so helpful and friendly. The cottage is spotless and the location for us was ideal, lots of long and short walks in the area, Lyman bay is a fantastic place to visit.

We spent four nights in Creel Cottage and found it to be very comfortable and well equipped.
We spent four nights in Creel Cottage and found it to be very comfortable and well equipped. There was a very generous welcome pack. One downside was the light well in the bedroom ceiling which flooded the room with light as soon as the sun came up which made it difficult to sleep.

Loved our week at Creel Cottage, The cottage was clean and very well equipped a proper home from hom
Loved our week at Creel Cottage, The cottage was clean and very well equipped a proper home from home. We stayed an extra night as we enjoyed the peace and quiet so much. The welcome pack was lovely and very much appreciated. Nearest town is only 10 mins in the car for stocking up on supplies. Our Dog had a great time every morning at the little beach just down from the cottage, he also got to make friends with the local doggies!
Would not hesitate in recommending the cottage and the place, just what you need to get away from it all................. but still having the option to get back in!

Laura (the owner) is a warm and welcoming host.
Laura (the owner) is a warm and welcoming host. Creel Cottage is an original cottage of Auchmithie, and has an interesting history. Although Auchmithie village does not have what would be termed as commercial amenities, it makes up for in its history, location and ambience. The reputable But ‘n Ben restaurant is located in Auchmithie.
A lot of thought was given by Laura in the provision of amenities and useful items in Creel Cottage. The small torch was a god send for the late night walk before retiring.
Nice walks locally, take the dog, leave the wife at home.

The cottage is located in a traditional Scottish coastal village which is very peaceful and offers great cliff top walks and beautiful sunrises.The cottage is very clean, cosy and comfortable and very well equipped (even biscuits for the dog!) Laura is a lovely host who ensures all your needs are met.
I highly recommend Creel Cottage.
