Spelga Mountain Lodge is a modern 4 star luxuary duplex detached converted barn which sleeps 5, in the highest accomodation in N. Ireland.

It is located on top of the Mourne Mountains, beside Spelga Dam reservoir, 10 minutes from the famous Royal County Down golf course in Newcastle, Northern Ireland.

The bespoke kitchen and dining/living area has a corner sofa and freeview TV to relax & enjoy the craic, beside the wood burning stove.
Upstairs the main bedroom has a Kingsize modern bed and Freeview TV and seating area. Bedroom 2 has a luxuary double bunk bed for kids/adults sleeping 3, with hotel grade matresses for comfort.
In the complex is an Outdoor Wooden games room with snooker & table tennis, overlooking the Dam, along with an outside kids climbing frame and swings.

Lovely to get away to Spelga damn for a few days rest and relaxation. Well appointed house in a lovely spot. Dogs also loved their break. Thank you Kathryn for all your help.

Just back from 3 nights at Spelga Mountain Lodge and we will definitely return. Stunning remote location with spectacular views. Whilst the location is remote, you are only a 10 minute drive from Newcastle/Bryansford so you aren’t totally cut off. The property itself has everything...More

Go past Fofany Dam and to the top of the hill until you come to Spelga Dam stright ahead and take the Hilltown turn off and just past Spelga Dam Carpark is Spelga Mountain Lodge.
