About the neighbourhood
The blue flag beach and dunes at Dinas Dinlle lie within a 20 minute drive and can be seen from the front of the property, whilst open countryside is to the rear, with walks into the hillside that culminate in the impressive mountain scenery of the Snowdonia National Park.

There are several smaller shops, a bank/cashpoint and post office in the nearby village of Penygroes. The nearest pub is just over one mile away.

For the more active, leisure centres are nearby in Caernarfon, Bangor, Pwllheli and Porthmadog.

There are excellent restaurants in Criccieth, Caernarfon, Bangor and Menai Bridge, serving a variety of local and international cuisine. And if it's a cafe you need, for coffee and cake, there's plenty to tickle your taste buds.

Getting around
There is a frequent bus service to the towns of Caernarfon and Porthmadog.

There is ample parking for cars at the property and it is easily accessible by car, only minutes from the A487 coast road (which connects to the A55), giving easy access to Bangor, Caernarfon, Pwllheli, Criccieth, the Llyn Peninsula and the majestic Snowdonia National Park.

Whilst there is no nearby mainline railway station, the nearest being Bangor, Criccieth & Porthmadog, there is the world famous 'Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland' railway. This runs from Caernarfon (via the nearby station at Dinas) up to Beddgelert, taking in breathtaking scenery, before dropping down to Porthmadog and then travelling beyond to end at Bleanau Ffestiniog.

Travelling away from Caernarfon, head south on the A487 toward Porthmadog and Criccieth, passing over two roundabouts, heading through Bontnewydd.

Arriving in Llanwnda, you will see a Millets “The Outdoor Store” and car sales garage on your right. At the next round about, take the first exit (Maen Coch) and is sign posted for Dolydd.

Follow this road (Maen Coch) for 1 mile (approx) and you will pass a petrol station and mini market on your left. You will approach a cemetery (on your right) and a signpost for a left-turn to Maes Tryfan. Take this turn, which is onto a narrow country lane, with farm fields on either side.

Follow this country lane (for about 0.5 mile) and you will soon see a small river (behind a wall) on your right before approaching a junction, containing a postbox, turn...
