Llwynon is a modern 3 bedroomed bungalow set in the beautiful Melindwr Valley about 7 miles east of Aberystwyth. It has stunning views of the surrounding countryside and is situated on the edge of our livestock farm.
Llwynon sleeps five with a double, a twin and a single room. It has the modern conveniences of full central heating and double glazing with all heating and electricity costs included in the price.
The property is accessed from the road down a short stoned drive and there is ample parking both at the side and front of the bungalow.
Outside there is a large garden with an extensive lawned area and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, an ideal place for the children to play in or for you to sit and relax and drink in the peace of the countryside.

Been staying here many years
Absolutely love it here, been staying here for many years love the fact its a short distance from borth beach by car, and I'm so happy to be taking my daughter here for her 1st holiday.
Such a peaceful location and Kathy is so helpful and friendly too

Beautiful location, very comfortable & clean, dog friendly & great value
Bungalow is in a gorgeous valley close to Aberystwyth for restaurants etc, but it feels very peaceful. We enjoyed lovely runs each morning along the lanes in the valley, very little traffic, only saw 2 farmers. Bungalow had plenty of space for us (5 adults).
Kathy (owner) is very friendly and helpful - we had to replace a flat tyre, so she found local garages for us.
Bungalow has everything you need in kitchen, a real home from home.
I will definitely return to this gem!

Stunning Location And Great Value!!
Whilst everyone else is ripping off families by asking £1500 for a week in a mouldy caravan Kathy stands head and shoulders above the crowd by offering a beautiful bungalow in a stunning valley location for only £600 a week!! It really can't be beaten. Definitely the cleanest self catering cottage we've ever been to and sitting in the garden having your lunch in the sun you really wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
We would highly recommend this property.

A Beautiful Bungalow, Home from Home in a Stunning Location
This bungalow is perfect for a relaxing get away, located in a beautiful valley on a farm, with the most stunning views from every window. We are a family of 3 and visited with our dog at half term. We found the bungalow to be clean and tidy, a good size with a lovely secure garden. The bungalow has a real home from home feel and is very well equipped with everything you need right down to books and board games . Kathy, the owner was an excellent host and has really thought about everything to make her guests feel comfortable. Aberystwyth is just a short commute by car and the beautiful Devils Bridge/Punch Bowl and Waterfall is well worth a trip. We had the perfect week at this location and will definitely be going back.

Stunning views
Really lovely views, very peaceful and a good sized garden for our dog (Bertie) to run around in. There is a cattle grid at the end of the road which stopped him roaming. My partner and I have 2 children and found this accommodation roomy enough for our needs and a convenient spot for various attractions. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming. We would certainly return again

Wonderful Break
We had a wonderful relaxing break in this comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. The property lies in a stunning countryside setting with a private garden to the rear to sit out in and enjoy the beauty around you. Great to see the 'Red Kites' flying over. Many thanks Kathy for providing us with a peaceful holiday break.

Excellent place to stay!
Fantastic location with gorgeous scenery. Very roomy bungalow equipped with everything needed. We had a wonderful time and our 3 children loved it there. Perfect location for exploring and visiting the numerous beaches. Kathy is such a lovely host and we are looking forward to returning again 😊

Just what we needed....and more
Just spent a wonderful week in this bungalow. A truly stunning location rural yet near to all amenities in Aberystwyth. Bungalow warm and equipped with all we needed. Enjoyed some wonderful walks both on the doorstep and slightly further afield in Borth and Devils Bridge. Came home one evening to find 5 red kites roosting in a tree in the garden....do visit the red kite feeding centre at feeding time a sight not to be missed. Cannot recommend this place highly enough a real gem and Kathy the owner was so welcoming and helpful. Have returned home relaxed and rejuvenated. I have already recommended this bungalow to a friend.

About the neighbourhood
Llwynon is situated in Goginan in the beautiful Melindwr Valley 7 miles inland from the town of Aberystwyth. It is just 3 minutes off the main A44 road and the University town of Aberystwyth is 20 minute drive away.
In Goginan within walking distance, is the award winning local pub called The Druid Inn. Here there is a wonderful menu of home cooked dishes all at reasonable prices and a good selection of local beers and ales.
Nearby to Llwynon is Nant-yr-Arian Forestry centre (it can be seen from Llwynon). a cafe and a craft shop along with miles of beautiful forestry walks and excellent and extensive mountain bike routes. Nant-yr-Arian is also famous for feeding the beautiful Red Kites. This happens every day at 3pm in the summer and 2pm from the end of October until the end of March. It is not unusual to see upto 100 kites swooping in to pick up the feed put out for them, a truly awesome and unique experience.
The bungalow is well situated to visit lakes such as Nant-y-Moch and the Elan Valley. Beaches at Aberystwyth, Borth and Clarach along with those further south such as Mwnt and New Quay and Aberdovey to the north are easily reached.
For the fishing enthusiast there are lakes and rivers to choose from all within 20 minutes drive from Llwynon with fishing licences easily obtained from local post offices.
There are 3 golf courses within 30 minutes drive of Llwynon with 18 hole courses at Aberystwyth, Llanrhystud and Borth.
Getting around
A car is a necessity when staying at Llwynon due to the lack of public transport in the area.
Buses to and from Aberystwyth run infrequently along the main road which is about 0.5km from the bungalow.
Train services run every couple of hours from Aberystwyth Station.

How to get there
Travelling west on the A44.
Come into the village of Goginan. Just after the Druid Inn car park on your right, turn sharp right down a steep narrow hill.
At T junction turn left. Continue down the lane until you come to a crossroads. Turn right here.
Llwynon driveway is the second drive on your left, about 30m after the crossroads and opposite a gate to some stables. The name is on the post and rail fencing.
Drive across the cattle grid and down the stoned drive
Travelling east along the A44, go through the village of Capel Bangor. Continue along the A44 for about 2 miles.
Pass a long light, grey house on your right. Take the next turning left (signposted B&B). Follow lane down through bungalows and straight across crossroads.
Llwynon driveway is the second drive on your left, about 30m after crossroads and opposite gate to some stables.
