About the neighbourhood
Visitors can choose between world-class theatrical performances in Stratford-on-Avon, antique shopping in Stow-on-the-Wold, arts and crafts in Chipping Campden, and the many visitor attractions of Bourton-on-the-Water. Or just go for a walk. The countryside is steeped in history, from Neolithic sites like the Rollright Sto nes, to places rich in the history of the English Civil War. Edge Hill, site of the famous battle, is not far away and the front door of the Tredington church still has musket-balls lodged in it from a disagreement between Roundheads and Royalists. There are many local art attractions – from the three little art galleries in Shipston-on-Stour, just a couple of miles away, to the impressive Compton Verney Art Gallery. Railway: Moreton-in-Marsh: 12.0 km
Ferry: Portsmouth: 178.0 km

Access is easy from the M40 at Warwick. There are nearby rail stations: both Stratford-on-Avon (for Birmingham) and Moreton-in-Marsh (for London) are only eight miles away. Tredington is on a local bus route.

Leave the M40 at junction 15 (Warwick) and take the A429, headed towards Stow-on-the-Wold. After approximately 12 miles you will reach the village of Halford. Continue through Halford and when you reach the next roundabout, with a Subaru dealership, take the first left and head into Tredington. Within the village, take the third turn on the left and continue down towards the village church. At the church turn right down a no-through road, take a sharp left followed by
