Rose Cottage

Overview
Cottage -
2 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 4
Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England

Unlike some nearby cottages that are modern re-builds, Rose Cottage is truly authentic and retains all its original ancient timber structure. The beamed living room has a very large inglenook with log burner, gate-leg dining table for more formal dining and Freeview TV, a small DVD library and a range of books. There is free wi-fi throughout... Read more

Thank you for this most thoughtful review. Yes, a 400-year old cottage is what it is! It is only in the past 30 years or so that it has had a bathroom of any sort! We would only add that as we show on the...More

Booked for part of a wedding party and it played its part admirably. Lovely cottage with everything you'd need for a stay. Everything comfortable and really enjoyed the stay

Whilst 'babies in arms' are welcome we do not recommend the cottage for toddlers or young children aged under around 6 because the ancient stairs are narrow and steep.
