Spring Grange Cottage is a luxury 2 bedroom spacious annexe set in a rural area of outstanding natural beauty on a 3/4 acre plot. This location enjoys fantastic views west across the valley and unspoilt countryside. Nestled in the Mendip Hills, Winscombe is an excellent base to explore the surrounding area and places of interest such as Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Axbridge, Bath and Weston-Super-Mare.
The property's spacious living area is light and airy with exposed beams and french sliding doors opening on to a generous patio. The living area consists of an open plan kitchen lounge/diner. There is plenty of room in which to relax enjoy the beautiful views, a smart TV, ,Netflix and free wifi is also provided. The master bedroom has an ensuite wet room. The second bedroom is a spacious twin room, there is also a family bathroom.
This property is attached to the main house but has its own private entrance, covered porch, parking area and separate garden. This property is the perfect choice for those with mobility in mind.
Our cottage is thoroughly cleaned and inspected by ourselves between each holiday let. In order to maintain a high standard we do not allow guest to smoke or pets.
Prices include bed linen, tea, hand and bath towels, electricity and central heating and wifi.
If you have people in your party who have restricted mobility or use a wheelchair, please always discuss the property's suitability with the owner.in detail before booking and we will do all we can to accommodate all of your needs.

Situated 4 miles from Cheddar (10 minutes drive), Winscombe is nestled in a beautiful valley in the Mendip Hills. This location is a destination for lovers of the countryside with a wealth of National Trust land within a short walk of the accommodation, from here you can enjoy many walks with views across the peat levels, see limestone platforms and enjoy views that stretch northwards across the Bristol Channel to Wales and south to the Exmoor National Park. The landscape of the area facilitates many sporting activities these include: Walking, mountain biking, road cycling, caving, climbing, abseiling, golf, horse riding, swimming, and sailing to name but a few. The popular Strawberry Line is easily accessible on Winscombe Hill for cyclists and walkers: http://www.thestrawberryline.co.uk
How to get there
APPROACHING FROM THE A38:Head south on the A38 - pass through the village of Sidcot which is on the A38. After approximately 1 mile look out for a petrol station on the right hand side (Shute Shelve), take the first right after this. Now on Winscombe Hill which is quite narrow and steep in parts follow the road until you come to The Square which is a cluster of sign posts in a small roundabout.
