Holiday Rental House
This is the ideal location to explore historic Oxford without needing your own transport. All the sights of Oxford can be reached on foot within 30mins. The bus stop into town is about 70m just round the corner, near a shop (open till 10pm) and a good restaurant (my family's favourite). At the end of the road is the flood plain of the Cherwell - an enormous field system where you can walk for hours. Open countryside in the middle of the town, together with farm animals to delight the children. Take a stroll along the river to the Victoria Arms pub/restaurant in Marston....This is the ideal location to explore historic Oxford without needing your own transport. We very much enjoyed our stay at the White House. Its location was perfect -an easy walk along the cycling path into the center of town, or a very short walk up to the bus stop with easy connections to other buses and the rail...More

Lovely house and great location. Hire a bike for the week and a lovely cycle into town. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Oxford

The house was the perfect size for our family reunion (6 adults, one child and one baby). Ideally located, just a 20 minute walk into central Oxford and a lovely walk through the parks at the end of the road. We have booked again for...More

Our hostess met us when we arrived to show us around and explain how a few things worked (the stove/oven, the garbage management scheme, etc.), and she was very friendly. She was also very flexible, adjusting the time to pick up the keys without complaint...More

Very generous accomodation for our family of eight people, clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is in a pleasnt and quiet area, near the Marston cycleway and footpath, which is a lovely route into town, crossing the river Cherwell.

Thank pablocious

There are outstanding museums to visit, and no end of excellent pubs and restaurants. There are theatres and plenty of concerts to go to (look in Daily Info for listings).
How to get there
Getting to Oxford: Excellent coach service every few minutes from central London, trains from London Paddington. Coaches from Heathrow.
