Welcome to Corner House, a spacious four bedroom detached home set in the heart of the historic village of Nettlebed. It sleeps up to 10 people and has space for entertaining and relaxing outside when the sun shines; inside it's cozy and warm for a winters night by the fire. Set in the heart of the village and placed in the stunning Chilterns; with easy access to Henley on Thames, Wallingford, Oxford and Reading. Corner House is a spacious and comfortable house. The kitchen is fully equipped, has an American fridge with water and ice maker. The dining table comfortably seats 8 and has a lovely view of the garden. The lounge has a large wood-burning stove with comfortable sofas for those cosy nights in. There is super fast Wi-Fi, digital TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and an on suite with power shower. The next bedroom is the same size as the master and has lovely views over the village, church and countryside. The remaining two bedrooms are more compact though both have double beds. A double airbed can be placed in the corner of the lounge to accommodate two extra people if required. All the bedrooms have double beds. Upstairs there is an en suite, family bathroom with power shower and a separate shower room with an electric shower. There is a separate WC downstairs. The garden is laid mostly to lawn enjoying both a sun deck with a distant view of the church and a shaded area too. There is a BBQ for outdoor dining and a garden fire pit for evening entertaining when the sun goes down. There is parking for three cars on the driveway at the front of the house.More

About the neighbourhood
Corner House is located in the heart of Nettlebed on a quiet road. The area of the Chiltern Hills is fortunate to have a plethora of activities, historic places and entertainment near by. Here are a few of them: Nettlebed: standing in the village, Joyce Grove was the former home of the Fleming Family. Redeveloped in the early 1900’s, this wealthy family owns much of the village and surrounding countryside; today it still runs the farm and businesses whilst remaining a benefactor to the area. It was the home of the city banker Robert Fleming from Dundee. He made his money in part from Jute fabric used for sandbags in the American Civil War and the American Railroads. Getting around
The best thing is to have a car to really discover the area. There is a bus service that can take you into Henley, Wallingford, Oxford and Reading just a short walk from the house. It runs every hour.There are London trains from Reading every 10 minutes and takes less than 30 minutes.
