We bought this lovely two bedroom river side apartment in February 2016 as a second home and somewhere we could use as a coastal retreat, enjoy the local scenery and more importantly relax. The apartment has fantastic riverside views and from the lounge or main bedroom you can watch the North Yorkshire Steam Train on its daily visits to Whitby railway station. In addition the apartment has an undercroft secure parking space. The apartment in 2019 has been fully redecorated with a walk in shower, new bathroom suite and a new heating system. Stayed in this comfortable apartment for a week. The apartment is a very good size with everything you could wish for and is approx 10 mins flat walk from everything Whitby has to offer. If the 10 min walk is too tiring you can always...More

Lovely first floor flat with river view easy10 minute walk to Whitby with underground parking space . We parked the car and went up and down the coast on the lovely modern buses and also walked along the cliffs both ways to Sandsend and Robin...More

Just back from a weeks stay and found everything exactly as described. A nice view of the river and the steam train. Only a short walk to the town . We had a great time

The location is perfect for walking into Whitby while remote enough to be quiet. It's also great for viewing the steam train pass on the opposite side of the river. Having secured, private parking is a bonus although getting in and out can be tight....More
