The train station also has the district line if you prefer the underground. Richmond itself is a very special place with numerous shops bars and restaurants. It has two cinemas and two theatres. Richmond Park is the largest of the Royal Parks with its famous roaming herds of deer and parakeets. 20 minutes walk away is the world renowned Kew Gardens. You can walk to a number of stately homes including Ham House and Marble Hill or get the boat to Hampton Court Palace. The only risk is that you might forget to visit central London! Great flat, with a lovely view. Richmond is perfect for visiting the attractions and shows in London, just a short journey away. The town is also full of parks and river walks. Colleen couldn't have been more helpful, and is a Super host.
