The flat is a very cosy place with its carpeted floor and a nice view from the main windows. It's on the second floor, but the stairs are good to walk even with luggage. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It's about 10 minutes...More

About the neighbourhood
Some information about Walthamstow Central: This district of east London is located about 6 miles to the north-east of The City, between Chingford and Leyton.

The area was originally densely forested and there is evidence that it has been settled since Roman times. More recently the district had the well-used route between London and Waltham Abbey running through it, and the name of the district is said to mean 'a place which welcomes strangers'.

By the 15th century the forests had been largely cleared (except for the area that is today known as Epping Forest) and the district was populated by small farms and villages.

How to get there
Airport: Stansted: 24.0 km
Railway: Walthamstow Central: 0.2 km
Our flat is only 4 mins walking distance to a tube/underground station and the tube(Victoria Line) will take you directly to Central London (Oxford Circus) in 20 minutes.

Very convinient for Eurostar travellers. From King's Cross / Euston you can take the direct Victoria line to Walthamstow Central and the flat is 4 mins walk to Walthamstow Central tube station.

Stansted Airport, Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Aiport and City Airport are also easily accessible by public transport.

Check-in and check-out times are flexible, we can arrange this between ourselves, as I also live locally and can tailor my time around your departure.

I look forward to welcoming you at my apartment.

Best regards
Sue
