The location of this property is great - close to the Green Park & Hyde Park tube stops and near some pubs/restaurants. Overall it was quiet.
However, the property is quite dated -curtains are deteriorating, carpet and decor are old. While it has a kitchen, it is very small and literally only has a few utensils, cups, plates. There are no napkins or paper towels. There was one bath towel pp but no wash cloths, no shampoo/conditioner/bath gel. We were there a week and only got new towels once. There is a washer/dryer but it is not in the unit and we never saw it.

When renting the unit I knew it did not have air conditioning. The pictures do not show how old the unit is. The evening we arrived it was hot and humid in London. We were in the unit for about 20 minutes and all 5 of us decided we could not stay. The unit was old, dirty carpet, and the fans which were left would only blow hot air. We decided to move to the Marriott near Regents Park and rent two rooms; which cost more than the VRBO. I reached out to the owner to request - even though he contractually does not have to - to refund us 1/2 of the cost of the unit. After not hearing back down him for a week I completed this review.

The property was reasonably priced, in a good loca...
The property was reasonably priced, in a good location and fairly spacious. Those are the only positive comments we have. The interior was very worn and could use a comprehensive update. You shouldn’t have to say a short prayer before flushing the toilets in hopes that they work each time. We had to wait for several minutes on the street and make multiple phone calls, before being let into our flat. The unit lacked a hairdryer which was disappointing to the women in our group. When we entered our flat the heat was set at the highest setting, making the space uncomfortably warm. There were no working lights in the hallway on the third floor and had to use cellphone flashlights to get our key in the lock when we return each evening. We ran into the ladies renting the flat next door (in the dark hallway) and they expressed very similar thoughts about their experiences. It is highly unlikely that we would stay here during a future visit to London.

Perfect location and responsive host!
This apartment is in a GREAT location! It was perfect for our family of 5. This trip was a surprise for my husband's birthday (he did not know that our grown children were joining us!). The host arranged for the surprise at a nearby restaurant and was so accomodating. The location is perfect for either first time visitors to London (near Buckingham Palace, Victoria Station) or seasoned ones. Will most definitely visit London and again and I will look for availabilty here first! THANK YOU!

Great location and good value for a family stay
Our stay at this apartment was very good and we were comfortable as a family of 4. The manager allowed us to check in earlier, which was nice. The bathrooms and kitchen are clean but they could get an update. Except one toilette and the TV, things worked fine. The location is very good, in a quaint and safe neighborhood and great access to the tube and trendy areas. I’m giving it a four only because a couple of things didn’t work well and the carpet was bit tired and I’m sure that at some point a smoker lived there. We couldn’t figure out the TV - connections didn’t work - and we only could listen to a radio station with British pop music - we enjoyed it actually. Overall, very good value if you are willing to overlook a couple of details.

Fab stay
Great location. Comfortable beds. Clean. Warm. Apartment isn't modern like the pictures suggest but that really doesn't bother us. Only suggestion for improvement was that there was no hair dryer and the shower could do with improvement. At least a hook to hold it to the wall. Otherwise it was a great value stay in London. I would stay again.
