We stayed in this apartment for two weeks. It’s a lovely, quiet, spacious and homey 2 bedroom with all amenities you need. Beds are comfy and kitchen is stocked well with equipment. The location is great. It’s right by Booths and Co-Op supermarkets and a nice stroll into town which has plenty of shops, pubs and eateries. Access to the lake is about 15-20 min walk which is beautiful. We loved Keswick. Highly recommend.

Three Times Lucky
Our 3rd visit to Coldale lived up to expectations. As always the apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and welcoming. It is perfectly situated for all the amenities on offer in Keswick, the rest of the Lake District and of course Booth's supermarket. we were visiting specifically for the Words by the Water Festival but Coledale is the perfect location for numerous activities at any time of the year. We particularly enjoyed eating again at Lakeside restaurant, Morels and LB's Pizzaria. Can't beat Bryson's for coffee/tea or light meals. We will return. Thank you Keswick Cottages.

Great stay in Keswick
We stayed in No 3 Apartment with friends who invited us for the New Year. It was a lovely Apartment, nice and clean and close to amenities. Would definitely recommend.

Un beatable Keswick Experience
Our second visit to this excellent apartment did not disappoint. It is comfortable, superbly equipped, spotlessly clean and in a superb position for enjoying all that Keswick and the surrounding area has to offer. Our booking experience was faultless and we would not hesitate to use Keswick Cottages again. We were visiting for the Words by the Water Festival and being able to walk to the Theatre on the Lake was a real bonus. Even in wet/windy weather the views from the apartment are stunning. Though close to the town centre, Coledale is set in a quiet/peaceful environment and with parking just outside it was a very relaxing experience; to be repeated hopefully in 2020.

Comfortable, quiet and convenient accommodation
We are regular visitors to Coledale, and appreciate the allocated parking with this property and the proximity of the shops and the bus station. We enjoy the winter walking in the area, though we don't do as many miles now. The free Dockyard museum in Barrow-in-Furness is worth a day trip and the Ironmongers in Cockermouth, (think of the Two Ronnies four candles TV sketch!) is fun. Very helpful Keswick Cottages staff

Wow! Thank you for your great review. Coledale certainly ticks all the boxes when it comes to a town centre property with the advantage of its own parking place and and a stones throw away from the supermarket to stock up on supplies ready for a walk out on the fells. Clean and tidy
Situated in the heart of Keswick, the apartment was ideally placed for local amenities and walks. It was difficult to get the right temperature in the shower without it running too hot or too cold however running a bath was fine. There was some mould around the shower screen trim but otherwise the flat overall appeared clean and tidy and had the added bonus of parking. The service from Keswick Cottages was very good.

First But Not Last
We are regular visitors to Cumbria but this was our first stay in Keswick and we could not have chosen a better apartment. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect week. We were attending the Words by the Water Festival and the location could not have been better for this; an easy 10 minute walk to the Theatre by the Lake. We are also keen walkers and there are numerous walks from the door. While close to all amenities in the town the apartment was very quiet. We also found Keswick Cottages a most helpful and efficient company to deal with. We hope to repeat this experience next year.

A home from home .
We have stayed in Keswick Cottages properties for over 15 years,but Coledale is our firm favourite with your own designated parking space - a bonus in Keswick. The flat is warm and well equipped. Our 10 day stay was cold and bright, with two days of falling snow, but we were still able to walk every day as you don't need the car - there a walks from the door step. Although the supermarket (ideal for shopping for food if you don't want to eat out) is only about 500 yards away, the area where the flats are situated is very quiet. The bus stops are by the supermarket - a determined explorer and get to most places in the Lakes even in winter!!
