Ambleside was hit with an unexpected heavy snowfall and roads were closed and hundreds of cars were stranded making it impossible for us to make our VRBO the first night. Management is unwilling to refund our first nights stay even thou we were told to turn around by mountain rescue

Wonderful cottage with fantastic amenities and superb views from upstairs. Based on a quiet road right in the heart of Ambleside perfect for walks, shops,buses,crazy golf, cinema etc

Ambleside is beautiful and this cottage is a great base to explore the Lake District. We had a wonderful 6-night stay. Excellent communication with the landlord both before and during the stay made it easy to get settled in and enjoy the holiday.

Lovely cottage, clean, spacious and well equipped....
Lovely cottage, clean, spacious and well equipped. It was central to Ambleside shops and restaurants, everything was a short 2 minute walk away.
We were a family of 5 and found it very comfortable.
