Broadstairs is a magical 25 minute walk along the beach when the tide is low.
Pegwell bay nature reserve is a pleasant walk or short drive away - great for a day out with the kids.
Canterbury and its historic Cathedral is a 20m drive away.

Very local to Ramsgate is Richborough Castle and Reculver Fort, Thanet has more Bronze age burial mounds than anywhere else in Britain.

At roundabout take 3nd exit onto Grange Road (B2054) and follow the road round to the left (signposted town centre)

By train:
1 hour 20 minutes from Kings Cross London.
