If you prefer you can stay on the estate and walk for miles in the nature reserve followed by a relaxing swim at the spa and finishing in the Balihoo for dinner and a G&T. Sounds like heaven. It’s your holiday and it should be perfect – somewhere for you to relax with friends and family in a home from home with a touch of luxury. That is what we offer at Cuckoos Nest. It is our family home and we fell in love with it when we originally stayed as guests. Now we want to share that with you. Cuckoo’s Nest is located at the popular Lower Mill Estate. It is situated on the peaceful Clearwater Lake, which provides wonderful views from our balcony where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine whilst the sun sets. Our home is one of only a few houses with no passing and everything is within a short walk or cycle ride away. We are a short 5 minute stroll from the ArtSpa - perfect for fun and relaxation. Access to the spa is included in the cost of your holiday. At the spa you can sit and enjoy a coffee whilst watching the kids swim in the outside pool or relax in the sauna followed by a few lengths in the beautiful indoor pool. The treatments are amazing – let all the stress of life disappear with a massage! Walking around the Estate you can engage with nature in the magnificent 550 acre nature reserve. It is the perfect opportunity to escape to tranquillity with family and friends. Cuckoo’s Nest provides luxury living in a four bedroom, three bathroom home, which sleeps eight adults plus two travel cots – perfect for family and friends. It is a modern glass-fronted house which makes the most of all the wonderful views - we often sit out on the balcony for breakfast or enjoy the sun going down in the evening. There is a stunning double height living area on the first floor so the house feels big and airy even if you have children running around. The house has great views from all aspects and whichever way you look you can see the water. We offer: • Four bedrooms – two large doubles (en-suite), two twin rooms • Sleeps 8 plus 1-2 travel cots • Three bathrooms: two en-suite, one family shower room • Five minutes walk from the ArtSpa – indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools outdoor eco pool, sauna, steam room and treatments • Canoe and fish on the lake (boat hire available) • Beautiful walks on the 550-acre private nature reserve including easy access to the Thames Walk • On-site restaurant and shop. We bought our home when our daughter was just two so we know what is needed for a child-friendly and family-friendly environment, whilst making sure adults feel comfortable with that bit of luxury. We have equipped our home to the highest standard for families and friends. We provide touches of luxury so you feel that you can walk into our home and relax instantly and if there is something you need we are always happy to try and help. Once outside the house you can enjoy the childrens' play areas, the many beautiful walks around the lakes, the wildlife, the boating and fishing and the spa on site. Just a short drive away you will find plenty of adventure with water skiing, bike rides, the Keynes Country Park and more. We are also ideally located to explore the Cotswold villages and attractions. Please do give us a call or email to discuss specific requirements. More

Stayed here for a week in August. Booked it for a family get-together (6 adults, one toddler and one baby). Good location. The property is well fitted out and plenty of toys for the toddler, and equipment for the baby. Had a really good time.
