This property is right in the middle of the lanes surrounded by shops and bars. It is brilliantly decorated with lots of character. On the downside it can be quite noisy in the evenings and it is small, especially the twin room. But for a...More

About the neighbourhood
From iconic Brighton tourist attractions to beach-front cool, Brighton is a treasure trove of things to do and places to go. Vibrant, colourful, fun and free, Brighton offers the energy of the city and freedom of the sea. It really is unique. From the stunning heritage of the Royal Pavilion, Regency architecture and Victorian aquariums to the traditional seaside fun of the famous Brighton Pier and pebble beach, Brighton offers something for every walk of life.
Getting around
The cottages are right in the city center so you can walk to all the main attractions. We don't recommend bringing a car as parking and driving around the city center is hard work and parking expensive.
Access
Car not needed
How to get there
Airport: Gatwick: 38.0 km
Railway: Brighton: 1.0 km
Ferry: Newhaven: 14.0 km
- The property is right in the city center and so easily approached by public transport. Trains arrive every 30mins at Brighton Station from London Victoria (journey time approx 50mins) and there is always a great queue of taxi's outside the station- the fare less than £5 to the house. Gatwick Airport is approx 30 minutes by train or car. Gatwick airport is serviced by most major airlines, including BA and Easyjet. There is a wide selection of nationwide car rentals to choose from at the airport. However as the house is in such a central location, a car is not necessary to enjoy the city- all the major attractions are accessible on foot or short cab ride. While there is no car-parking space with the property there is a large multi-story car-park in the adjacent street.
