Overview
Holiday Rental House -
4 Bedrooms , 3 Bathrooms , Sleeps 6
Shaftesbury, Dorset, England
Updown Cottage is a C16th self catering holiday cottage, assessed as 5* with Gold Award from Visit Britain for all 11 years.
The cottage is for currently for sale as we are moving closer to family but we are continuing to take bookings and look forward to hearing from everyone and anyone who may wish to stay or in fact own their own slice of history.
We've loved every inch of the cottage and town and would love to pass it on to a like-minded person!
The cottage stands on Gold 'Hovis' Hill which is famous from Ridley Scott's 1970s Hovis Bread advert featuring the 'Boy on a Bicycle'.
The views are spectacular from both cottage and hillside garden and are certainly some of the most photographed in England.
Every luxury that you would expect from a 5* hotel is provided, but the whole cottage is yours for the duration...
