If you don't fancy cooking, a few minutes walk up the road will take you to Boscombe Bowling Club where, during the summer months you can sit in the small cafe or outside on the terrace and enjoy a lovely breakfast, lunch or Sunday roast. The closest supermarket and parking for Boscombe shops is a 4 minute drive. There is a large playing field just up the road, on the cliff top and next to a cafe, 2 minutes in the car or 8 to 10 minute walk. Whether you want to escape and sit in the sun trap garden with a glass of wine.... Or walk across the road to admire the panoramic views and watch the sunset from the cliff top, where you can see from the Isle of Wight across the bay to Poole, sunbathe on a gorgeous beach after lunch at the trendy beach cafe, Urban Reef... Or enjoy the many water and beach sports on offer... Cycle along the promenade to Sandbanks... Enjoy all that Bournemouth and the surrounding area has to offer... If you have children, the aquarium, funfair and miles of sandy beaches are fun any time of the year... Catch the land train or open top bus tour to sample Bournemouth's many delights... Take in a show at The BIC, eat out at the many restaurants, hire a beach hut for the day, eat ice cream on the pier ... The options are endless for a great British holiday any time of the year! Interaction with guestsThis is my only holiday let and it is very important to me that whilst I can’t control the weather, I can supply a lovely clean, bright holiday apartment in a great location with a pretty patio garden for my guests to sit out and enjoy. I do my best to ensure that anyone staying has a great holiday and I will go out of my way to help with any recommendations required ie, places to eat or to visit. I have more and more returning guests each year, I feel very honoured. It’s great that they know what to expect and from my point of view, it’s lovely to welcome them back and to know that they clearly enjoy this holiday destination. I think my guests also enjoy the ‘personal touch’ rather than dealing with a booking clerk.

Great location, didn't want to leave.
Such a lovely place to stay. The flat was spotlessly clean, spacious and well laid out with a very pretty terrace garden to sit out on and admire the flowers. Great that there is an off road parking space adjacent to the flat and the flat is so close to the beach. The lovely host checked in to make sure we were happy with everything. We had a delicious roast lunch nearby before sunning ourselves on the beach. The bowling club, just a short walk along from the flat, served great coffee and breakfast. The flat is very well equipped for guests to enjoy a comfortable, restful holiday such as books to read, board games and DVDs. I highly recommend this and will definitely be back.

Can't wait to come back, Excellent apartment in an idilyc location
Immaculate 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with everything you will need, modern interior, built in dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. Kingsize bed was so comfy, I had to drag myself out of it in the morning. Lovely patio garden with lots of pretty shrubs and flowers. Located across the road is the Boscombe clifftop with a pathway leading to the beautiful Boscombe beach, so picturesque . Added bonus of private parking. Ideal location amenities in walking distance. We thoroughly would recommend this apartment and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you so much Liz, you are the best host ever.

So good we will return.
This is our 3rd visit to the apartment and it’s as lovely as we remember from our previous visit. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner liz, had a lovely welcome from her and a bonus yummy homemade cake to tuck into after our long journey. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need and its location is great with a short walk across the road to the beach. Takeaway pizza on boscombe beach from urban reef is a must. So many nice places to access and visit from the apartment that a week wasn’t long enough, a return visit in the future is definitely on our to do list. Thanks again for everything liz.

Lovely Boscombe Beach Apartment
Just returned from another visit to Boscombe Beach. The apartment is in a great location and has its own parking space which is a bonus. It also has a good sized private patio with comfortable furniture and has everything you would require for a great stay. In one direction it is only a short walk to Boscombe Pier and the excellent beach and in the other direction there are a couple of pubs and cafes which all serve food. Within a short drive there are excellent coastal walks and places to visit such as Lulworth Cove and Muddiford and the Cliffhanger Restaurant in Christchurch is well worth a visit for breakfast.

Premium seaside holiday apartment in Boscombe, Bournemouth
Our second stay at this lovely apartment. It is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, especially the beds with Hypnos mattresses. The secluded private garden is a bonus with well stocked flower borders and patio furniture. Parking right next to the apartment is a godsend. Across the road is the cliff top walk and seating with views of coastline for miles in each direction. Perfectly situated to explore the area. Can recommend Libertys bird and reptile centre with best falconry flying display we’ve ever seen. Also Poole harbour and good priced boat trip around sandbanks and islands. Swanage is lovely, we drove this time but can get Breezer 50 open top bus from Bournemouth bus station. Free if you’ve got a bus pass. The bus takes scenic route through Sandbanks and goes across the chain link ferry. Corfe Castle, a few miles from Swanage, is a lovely, very quaint village with a beautiful church. Shopping emporium in Christchurch is a good way to spend a couple of hours indoors if weather is not good, mixture of secondhand/antique/new goods, also a nice cafe area inside. Christchurch Priory a few minutes drive from Emporium is a must. There are shops and restaurants not far from the apartment including Harvester next to Boscombe pier. Last but not least there is a cliff lift down to the sandy beach at Boscombe, turn left out of apartment and then drive for about half a mile and park on cliff road. Some disabled spaces. There is a cafe next to lift. Small cost to use lift or a long slope down to beach level where there is a shop, food bar, toilets and lifeguard. A wonderful week in beautiful Dorset, thanks to Liz the owner for providing everything you need for a ‘home from home’ break at the seaside!

Couldn't be better!
My husband and I stayed for 5 months in Liz's flat - a long-term rental over the winter. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed while our things arrived from overseas and we found a permanent situation. Liz was thoughtful and responsive - the perfect landlady. Awesome location, a stone-throw from the cliff edge and the beaches below. I can only imagine how brilliant the place must be in the summer with the patio and ground floor access to walks along the cliff and beach. Off-street parking a big plus and close to Boscombe, one of the area's best-kept secrets if you like places that have an identity and sense of community. Less glitzy than Bournemouth centre but with a big heart and much more interesting. Walking distance (20 minutes) to neighbourhood bars (Obsidian) with music and spoken word, coffee shops (Espresso), a small theatre (Black Cherry) with stand-up and all the shopping you could need. Loved the area and still go back even though we have moved out. Couldn't be better!

Wonderful seaside accommodation in Boscombe
Great ground floor apartment in a quiet block. Exceptionally clean, modern, comfortable with everything you need for a ‘home from home’ break away. Off road parking space directly outside apartment is a godsend. A secluded pretty paved garden at front with plants and flowers is ideal to enjoy a cuppa or lunch in the sun. Across the road there is a grassy cliff top where you can sit and enjoy the sea stretching for miles in each direction. There is ample free parking on cliff road. About half a mile along cliff road (turning left out of apartment) there is a ‘cliff lift’ to take you down to beach (small charge). This is a perfectly located apartment for exploring the area, 10 mins into Bournemouth by car and 20/30 minutes to New Forest, Christchurch, Lyndhurst and Lymington. Watched exciting Bournemouth Air Show (early September) from garden and the cliff top opposite, prime viewing spot! Can recommend open top bus (Breezer 50) from Bournemouth bus station (parking in railway station adjacent) to Swanage via villages, Studland and Sandbanks and short crossing on chain ferry (you stay on bus). The bus is free with a seniors bus pass! Can also recommend Oceanarium at Bournemouth Pier. Ample supermarkets in area by car and also McDonald’s, Harvester (Boscombe Pier), Toby and Beefeater restaurants not far away. Owner Liz very friendly and supplied helpful info. Had a wonderful week, looking forward to our return visit next July! Thanks Liz

Highly Recommend!
One of the best! A well equipped, beautifully clean apartment - with parking (a bonus) and pretty courtyard garden. Plenty of walking on the beach, accessible from the cliff top, just across the road from the accommodation. The owner, Liz, is so friendly and helpful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic flat offering everything you can think of
This flat has a secret weapon... It isn't the flat which has everything you can possible need it is the owner. Liz was a fantastic host and extremely helpful. I would be happy to book there again based on my experience. You can easily stay at this flat without a car as it is in an ideal location for the beach and shops although it does include a space right outside of the flat. We hopped on the buses and travelled around without any issues. There is lots to see and do nearby and if you have a car you can go even further afield. We loved Hengistbury Head, Mudeford, Tuckton etc... I could see that Liz has put a lot of thought and effort into ensuring you have everything you need whilst on holiday. I especially liked the fact that the flat had fans which is something I would miss over the summer months. Everything is easy to use, in good working order and spotlessly clean. In case it isn't clear from the amenities list, this flat also includes fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tv/dvd/freeview, harirdryers, fans, wifi, parking, microwave, gas hob, oven, kettle, toaster and every single kitchen implement you can need to cook including decent sharp knives. We enhoyed some lovely meals on the patio which had beautiful flowerpots. There is even an outside tap/hose to wash off your sandy feet before you enter the flat.

Spotless 2 bedroom apartment close to beach and Bournemouth
Perfect location for beach and promenade walks. Spotlessly presented and a real home from home. Very friendly owner all too ready to assist. Great location for exploring the area and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if a holiday in the area is required.

About the neighbourhood
The easiest and closest supermarket to visit is Sainsbury's in Boscombe and around 4 minutes by car. A short or long stay car park (around £1 per hour) are right next to it and it is in a pedestrian only precinct with lots of shops to browse and coffee shops. Also right next to the precinct is the bustling high street with many more shops. As a suggestion, Morrison’s and I’m sure other supermarkets could do an online order for you to arrive late afternoon on your day of arrival.

How to get there
I’m sure most people will use a sat nav and it would appear that the majority of my guests enter the area via M27 and A31. During peak times and hot weather, there can be long queues on the approach to Ringwood. Major road works in 2022 will have hopefully improved this but should the traffic look as though it’s queuing as you approach M27 junction 1 (Cadnam) , my suggestion to avoid this, is a slightly longer but very scenic route across the forest. Come off M27 at Junction 1 and take the B3079 (Fordingbridge) After 1 mile, bear left onto B3078 (Fordingbridge) After 9 miles turn left onto A338 (Ringwood) After 5.5 miles, turn right at roundabout and take A31 slip road, join A31, you will then be on original route. Please DON’T be tempted to go via Lyndhurst / Christchurch or Lymington. These areas/ routes are definitely to be avoided on a hot, busy Saturday.
