Bournecoast are delighted to offer this two bedroom first floor flat which has a bright airy feel in many of the rooms. The accommodation is furnished with more traditional style furnishings. The property is an ideal base to explore the local area of Alum Chine. The apartment is located just a short woodland walk away through the Chines from the award winning sandy beaches and in the other direction a short walk will take you to the excellent range of shops, bars and restaurants in Westbourne Village. This holiday apartment is ideal for a family looking for a beach holiday with local amenities close by. LOCAL AREA Alum Chine is a distinct and popular holiday location situated between Bournemouth and Poole whilst still being a distinct suburb of Bournemouth. Alum Chine beach is hugely popular with families due to a pirate-themed large adventure playground, toilets with baby changing facilities, RNLI lifeguard stations, pubs and ice cream kiosks. From Alum Chine beach you can take a peaceful stroll through the exotic woodlands. Westbourne is an elegant district of Bournemouth located on the way to Poole and known affectionately as 'The Village', offering a mix of design specialists, beauty stores and delicious delis, pubs and child-friendly restaurants. Whilst Westbourne is busy, Alum Chine offers a more peaceful and relaxing holiday environment than in Bournemouth centre, as you would expect. Bournemouth centre itself offers high street shops, theatres, an Odeon cinema and restaurant complex 'BH2', restaurants, bars and entertainment for the whole family. The walk along the Promenade underneath the cliffs or along the beach to Bournemouth Pier is always a popular choice. An alternative walk is along the clifftop taking in the magnificent vista across Poole Bay. The land train runs along the Promenade, from close by the bus terminus at the foot of the Chine, to Bournemouth Pier and to Boscombe Pier beyond. Seasonal open top buses will take you into Bournemouth and Poole. If you walk along the Promenade in the other direction towards Poole you will come across Branksome Chine which offers yet more sea and sand. THE DESTINATION: Holidays are special! They form many of the best life memories and provide a rare opportunity for FREEDOM. Freedom to relax, play, breath and choose, what you want to do and when you want to do it. At Bournecoast we give you freedom of choice by offering an impressive selection of Self Catering accommodation in one of the most beautiful destinations in the United Kingdom. Dorset is a very popular holiday destination all year round. It offers beautiful rolling countryside, dramatic scenery, charming market towns, character villages and miles of some of the finest sandy beaches in the UK. Bournemouth lies to the east of the county and offers seven miles of blue flag beaches. It is near the market town of Christchurch with its 11th century Priory Church, ruined castle and Saxon mill, and the stunning medieval New Forest. The area caters for diverse interests, the popular buzzing beach resort in Bournemouth with its vibrant nightlife; the gentler pursuits of walking, wildlife and bird-watching in the nature reserves and national parks, and along the 20 miles of Bournemouth Coast footpath; and active pursuits such as cycling, sailing, rowing, canoeing, windsurfing, kite-surfing and sea kayaking. Popular also for touring, Southampton, the Isle of Wight, Salisbury and Stonehenge are all within reasonable travelling distance. Dorset features some excellent museums, with world leading centres at Bovington (The Tank Museum, telling the history of military vehicles), and the Russell Cotes Museum and Art Gallery in Bournemouth. Other museums include the Dorset County Museum in Dorchester, The Red House in Christchurch, the Royal Signals Museum at Blandford, and the award winning Brewers Quay in Weymouth. Many smaller towns have their own local museums.More
