Excellent apartment/house right in the center of Chester. Clean, comfortable, with all amenities you need for a stay with family. Thoughtful gestures such as leaving milk, fruits, and cereals only added to the whole experience. Would recommend it highly.

About the neighbourhood
Chester in Cheshire, North West of England is a picturesque town on the river Dee, Welsh boarder and Liverpool. Chester has a wide range of activities available to visitors, from simply walking round the compact city centre and shopping to visiting the very visible Roman ruins which are dotted through the city. Chester Racecourse is minutes from the city centre and the more active-minded can try their hand at boating on the River Dee. Chester Cathedral is also well worth a visit, as is Chester Zoo There are also many brilliant restaurants, bars and clubs in Chester, but also a large number of traditional English pubs. Liverpool or Manchester are within easy access as is Cheshire Oaks Shopping Centre, Chester Zoo and North Wales.
Getting around
Chester is 2 hours by train from London, 35 minutes drive or train to both Liverpool and Manchester. Beautiful North Wales is a short drive away too. Ferries to Dublin, Ireland run from Liverpool and Holyhead, North Wales which is approx 2hrs by car or train. Loads of busses and taxi's for getting around the city and the Railway Station is a short taxi ride away. Highly recommend the open top bus tour of Chester for getting to know the city and its history.
