No.5 is a turn of the century workers cottage located in the very centre of the historical city of Chester. With the city on our doorstep exploring on foot is easy, however free secure parking (x1) is available on request.

We provide everything you need to make your stay comfortable, and as far removed from a serviced apartment as we can possibly make it.

No.5 is ideally configured for a romantic break or a family trip. We are business ready but don't have a key box, just ask for info!

Walk in off the busy street into our lovely little home. Our space is open plan downstairs with French doors leading out to the garden from the kitchen. We are very lucky to have numerous fantastic restaurants and bars in Chester, and champion the many independent special places in our city. A guest book with details of our favourite restaurants, bars and places to visit is provided, and if you find somewhere new please be sure to tell us about it! If you are looking for a specific recommendation we would be happy to help. Chester itself is an incredibly ancient place founded in the year 79AD by the Romans. It is one of the most architecturally rich cities in Britain full of architectural treasures such as the Roman city walls, the unique Chester ‘rows’, a medieval castle, partially exposed amphitheatre, many Roman relics and a beautiful riverside, complete with bandstand, cafes and bars
Getting around
The train station and bus stations are a 5-10 minute walk - easy with a wheelie case but any more luggage and a taxi may be necessary. Its so easy to get a train to Liverpool, Manchester or Birmingham for the day, or the North Wales coast and even to Holyhead for a day trip to Dublin, depending on the length of your stay. Everywhere in Chester is easily accessible on foot - you won't need a car. Secure parking is available nearby on request, and on road parking outside the property is available for 10 minutes all day, or from 6pm-8am and all day on a Sunday.
