Really nice, clean accommodation with everything you could need. In walking distance from the river and the cathedral. Ely a lovely place to visit.

We have just had an amazing w/ end break in willow cottage, just what we needed , great location close to high road and restaurants , highly recommend it .

Beautifully kept , with extremely comfortable beds and sofas . A house you look forward to returning to in the evening and feel extremely safe in if staying on your own. Would love to revisit sometime in the future.

Lovely house with all necessary amenities - very clean and delightful owner who very kindly allowed us to check in early - would recommend and we’d definitely stay here again - everything is on the doorstep - thanks very much

About the neighbourhood
As well as the Cathedral Ely also offers Oliver Cromwell's House which is also the tourist information center, Waterside Antiques, the biggest in East Anglia, the Ely museum, the stained glass museum and the Babylon Gallery. Ely has the major tourist locations of Cambridge and Newmarket on its doorstep at the same time as being only an hour away from London by rail and only two hours away from the Norfolk Coast by car. Not forgetting of course the numerous small villages and towns in between that each have their own individual characteristics to offer. Therefore, Ely and The Hoist makes for an ideal base for exploring the area.
How to get there
FROM THE RAILWAY STATION:- Out of the station turn left. At the mini-roundabout take the second exit. Next take the second turning on the right called Broad Street. Follow this road which will then bear to the left and go up Forehill. On this bend turn right, go over the Zebra crossing and follow the road round to the left. Willow Walk turning is 100yds on the right hand side. If you reach Sainsbury's you have gone too far. Once in Willow Walk follow the narrow road ( with cars parked on your right ). You will pass a play area on your right and then you will come to a small junction. Turn left and No 31 is the first house on the left.
