Overlooking the Swale, downdale, this outstanding cottage has been marvellously renovated with a feel for luxurious comfort and style. Throstle Nest Barn is a detached barn conversion in a rural setting, yet easy to reach, and with amazing views across Swaledale. A beautiful kitchen retains its old-fashioned charm with beamed ceiling and flagged stone floor. The upstairs living room has a cosy outlook over the private field, with lovely meadow flowers. Underfloor heating in the bathrooms and a multi-fuel stove in the living room (along with oil central heating) make Throstle Nest Barn an inviting and hugely comfortable retreat after a day's walking over the nearby hills.
