This house is approximately 15 mins outside of Nelson in a beautiful area. Hosts let us know ahead of time that google may error in the location - which it did! Easy communication solves that problem. Suite was perfect for us and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there.

Beautiful quiet spot private and clean very enjoyable

Marie is a great host. The suite is immaculate and equipped with all we needed. Lots of space inside for two of us. Spent most of our time on the nicely shaded porch area. Listening to the squirrels and the birds. Good neighbourhood down a quit driveway. Close to Nelson, Castlegar and the Slocan Rail Trail. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

If you are looking for a serene and "under the stars" getaway this is the place. The property is situated 15 km outside of Nelson high on the hillside. The view is wonderful and the private deck/yard gives you comfort to "kickback". The accommodations were very comfortable and on the rainy days it was nice to have the wide screen tv. There was no dishwasher or washer/dryer but that didn't matter once you gazed upon the view through the many windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the multitude of recreational activities the surrounding area had to offer.

We had a great stay at Marie’s unit. The location is perfect for exploring the area. The setting is beautiful and very private. The size of the unit was perfect for our young family of 4. We’d definitely stay again. Thanks again Marie!

We had a peaceful, pleasant time in the spacious lower level of the home. It was well equipped with a very comfortable bed and plenty of windows to take in the ever changing view of the valley below. The host is friendly and responds quickly. We brought our dog and it’s a pet friendly place.

The property, while a little difficult to find, was just as it was listed. The fire pit was a nice edition. The provision of tea, coffee, and shower amenities was nice. Marie and Alain were very nice and welcoming. I would recommend a stay with them anytime.

We had 5 days get away vacation and used this wonderful property as a base to get to local hiking and biking trails. Its completely met our expectations and we had a comfortable stay.Thank you Marie and Alan for your hospitality.

This suite has everything you need for a home away from home. The owners Marie and Alan are very welcoming. The suite is bright and comfortable, and has all of the things you need to make your stay enjoyable.

Our 2 night getaway was made exceptional by the graciousness and friendly Marie . All her hard work and care taken to ensure her guests are taken care of is second to none .
