The Twiglet was eclectic and charming, peaceful and quiet. The animals were awesome. We loved feeding the goats.. It was an easy drive to Niagra Falls, Niagra on the Lake and Port Colbourne. The host was so nice and helpful.

Just got home from a 2 night stay. What a wonderful little getaway close to the city. Already missing gretel, yeti and all of the animals. Will definitely be booking another stay. Petra was so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place if you love animals.

Great stay at the Twiglet. Hosts were great and very helpful and responsive for any questions. Place was warm and cozy and we were able to prepare meals and visit the local shops in Welland. Not to mention learning more about farm animals you may take for granted! Great time!

A great experience all around. Petra and Mush are informative, gracious and lovely hosts. Interacting with the "critters" was such a treat. They are so fun and our visits from the piggies were the best. The Twiglet is perfect and there isn't anything else you could possibly need. Close to the Falls and NOTL if you are looking for some adventure. Next visit...The Hoblet!!!

What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay! We spent 3 nights there and wish we could have stayed more. We really enjoyed feeding and petting the animals. Such a treat to be able to walk out your door and see the pigs waiting for you. The place we stayed in was amazing and it had everything you could possibly need. Such a cozy little place. We loved it!!

My husband and I visited Petra, Mush and the critters for a couple of nights. We wished we had booked a longer stay at the Twiglet. This home and property is exactly what we needed to get away from the city life. Petra and Mush are so welcoming and accommodating. All the animals, aka the critters, we so sweet and kind. We truly missed them as soon as we checked out. We will be back again. Thank you for everything!

We travel a lot for work and always make a point to seek out unique places and experiences. Our stay in the Twiglet House was easily our most memorable stay of the last few years! The amount of care that goes into each detail of the home and property, the amount of love shown for each animal, and sense of ‘at-homeness’ are absolutely unmatched. The gated property feels like a secret oasis tucked into to middle of Niagara farm country, with some animals free roaming and other nestled happily into their own spacious little corners but all happy to greet guests. The entire experience is at Natures Energy Centre is much, much bigger than simply a few tiny homes and a friendly animal sanctuary. One hundred percent recommend staying here for anyone looking for that unique getaway...you will not be disappointed!!!

Goats, donkeys, pigs, dogs and a horse, Petra' s and Mush's place is unique, whimsical, where old and discarded finds new meaning and purpose including hairless Goat frolicking happily, unaware of her circumstances (old and bald). Very clean and comfortable, nice area to explore with bikes provided. Wonderful hosts, hope to come back . The only thing better than to be a guest there would be to be one of the animals there.

Charming. Whimsical. Having the animals wandering out and about was delightful. Feeding them carrots and apples was very popular with all the quadrupeds. The Twiglet had so many spots to settle into for a good read, sleep, meditation and prayer. Definitely coming back.
