Jane and Jonathan have a reat cottage well maintained in a small village on a farm. With animals for neighbours that even pop their heads over the wall occasionally to say hello. Owners on site if there is any issues but there wasn't. Milk, cheese and biscuits in the fridge fir our arrival was a great surprise. Hot tub too was the best. Just on the out skirts of the Cotswolds so a little cheaper property. Visited plenty of place over the week. Only 25 minutes from Oxford and Blenheim Palace. Nearest town with shops is Chipping Norton about 10 minute drive. Cotswold Distillery is a recommended visit. Once again that's fir a great week.

This cottage is the best self catering accomodation we have probably ever stayed in.
This cottage is the best self catering accomodation we have probably ever stayed in. Jonathan and Jane have created the perfect place for any couple just wanting to "get away from it all". It is a small converted stable but plenty of room to not feel claustrophobic. Very well equipped, exceptionally clean, VERY comfortable bed and lovely monsoon shower in bathroom over a very big bath. Jane goes the extra mile by providing a welcome pack - ours was a lovely board with two cheeses, figs, oat biscuits and some little home made brownies - she had also supplied a pint of milk. Jonathan and Jane are the perfect hosts as they do not intrude but made it very clear they were at hand if we needed them.
The icing on the cake with this wonderful cottage is the hot tub!! Big enough for four people (so plenty of room for just two) it was the perfect end to a day out to come back and use this fabulous facility. Jonathan maintains it every day so you know that it is clean and has appropriate levels of chemicals in it.
I would not hesitate in highly recommending this cottage to anyone - but hope not too many people book it as intend to go back next year!
