Traditional detached stone cottage, sympathetically and rather luxuriously refurbished in recent years to a very high standard. Penybryn is the perfect location for those looking for that special rural retreat experience. Set in a commanding position overlooking the Cader Idris and Aran mountain ranges, three miles from the historical town of Dolgellau, 20 minutes drive to the hugely popular Coed y Brenin mountain biking centre and Precipice Walk and 25 minutes from the beaches at Barmouth and Fairbourne. Excellent walking, cycling (Sustrans cycling route 8 runs parallel to the house) and fishing. Narrow gauge railways, castles, beaches, just up the road from the historical market town of Dolgellau. Short breaks welcome, Saturday changeover for weekly stays, Friday or other changeover days possible for off season short breaks. More infor... Read more

The farmhouse is beautiful with stunning views from every room. The garden is large and secluded and there are fantastic walking trials on the local land. It is an incredibly relaxing and private location and we would highly recommend this property to anyone including families.
