My garden cottage is based in a quiet, peaceful suburb area called Glen Anil. Close to many shops and restaurants, and only a short ten minute drive to get access to the beaches and Moses Mabhida Stadium. The space: My space available is a two bedroom double storey garden cottage, with the available cottage to let with two bedrooms upstairs - an open plan kitchen flowing into the dining room and lounge area, and one bathroom with both a bath and shower. The garden cottage shares the property with a main house that I rent out on a permanent basis to my tenants. The main bedroom has a king size bed and two side tables, lots of cupboard space and extra blankets. The cottage is comfortable, child friendly, and has all the amenities that you need. This cottage is suitable for either a solo traveler on leisure/business who would love the space, couples, or a family of 4 and an infant. We have one pack and play travel crib for infants,and one extra single air mattress to put in lounge if one extra person needs it. The crib needs to be requested prior so we can set this up in advance in the main room. There is secure parking available in front of the unit on the property behind an electric gate, with security lighting. No more than two cars per Airbnb guest can be accommodated - one to always be parked in garage and one to far right next to wall, for easy access for everyone. The place is situated in Glen Anil off Umhlanga Rocks Drive, so an ideal location for peace and quiet, but close enough to everything you need! Very close to a petrol station, La Lucia and Gateway Mall shopping centers are 10 min away, restaurants, Glenashley's Eastman's spar supermarket to get anything you need food wise (1 minute away), coffee shops, a diving centre, and several pubs. Please refer to our folder of tips of stuff in the area on what to do, where to go etc, which is located inside our coffee table. Guest access Parking in front of house to far right, and/or inside garage. Access to entire garden cottage. Off limits to main house and garden behind main house. No smoking, parties, or events Check-in time is 2PM - 11PM and check out by 10AM Self check-in with lockbox - After 10pm noise level needs to be lowered, no large parties or events, property has another house next to cottage with permanent tenants - Cottage is completely non-smoking inside, (smoke detectors will set off), but has an outside patio area with table and chairs with ashtray for smoking. Smoking is only allowed on patio balcony area outside at all times. - Parking for 1-2 cars only. One car needs to be parked to the far right next to the wall right in front of the unit, to prevent blocking other cars coming in and out. Should you have an additional car, please park your additional vehicle outside the property You must also acknowledge: No smoking, parties, or events Check-in time is 2PM - 11PM and check out by 10AM on check out day Check in done by host on arrival for key handover, so arrival time must be communicated. Pet(s) live on property - The main house tenants have two dogs that stay in the backyard and do not have access to the front yard and cottage area Must climb stairs - two small flights of stairs with about 6 steps each Some spaces are shared - Parking in front of property is shared with permanent house tenants.
