Just a five minute stroll from the dunes and miles of sandy beach, Rock Lobster is equipped and furnished to a very high standard and holds a Visit Britain 4* Gold Award. You'll find everything you'll need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Our holiday home is managed by us, the owners, our aim is make your stay both comfortable and enjoyable. You will be met at the cottage and welcomed on arrival .

We offer short stays and weekend breaks (minimum stay is 2 nights) as well as holidays of a week or more. Lovely warm, clean, modern cottage close to the beach. Lots of useful information on what to do/where to eat etc, provided by email prior to arrival. Meet and greet by Jamie, the owners agents on arrival who was very friendly and helpful. As it was...More

About the neighbourhood
The medieval town of Rye with its quaint streets and ancient buildings is only 3 miles away. This pretty little hill top town was once the haunt of smugglers and is steeped in history. The cobbled streets are now lined with unique, independent shops, art galleries, artisan food shops, historic inns, restaurants and tea shops. A car is the most convenient way to get around, however there are buses running along the coast and trains from Rye to Hastings and London via Ashford. The area is great for cycling as the traffic free coastal cycle path is just a few meters from the house. The area is very flat and the roads are quiet.
