Tranquillité absolue
A l'écart de la ville, emplacement très proche de l'embarcadère. Construction très soignée. Confort total, cuisine bien équipée, pas de climatisation mais ventilation naturelle efficace. Martha est très aimable et prête à rendre service. Bons vélos à
disposition pour faire les courses en ville. Calme absolu, tranquillité totale.
Etablissement remarquablement bien tenu, à recommander. Merci Manany !

Magical Time!
Our family of 4 spend a few days at this magical place in December. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Mariana was an amazing host. She welcomed us with open arms and helped us to book many activities and tours for our stay at Isabela. You will love this place! Enjoy!

Wow!!!
My family of five spent 3 nights at Chez Manany. We were delighted with our stay. We received the warmest welcome from Manany as she greeted us at the dock and had a driver waiting to take us to our home for 3 nights. She explained our accommodations to us upon arrival along with familiarizing us with the island and arranged a tour for us for the following day. Manany is very modest and says she doesn't speak good English, but her English is beautiful and we had no problems communicating with one another. If relaxation and serenity are what you're looking for when visiting Isabela, then Chez Manany in a great place to stay. Chez Manany is very close to the dock upon arrival to Isabela and around the corner from a great snorkeling spot and other excursions. In addition, it is only about a 5 minute walk to town and the beach. I did get to see all the place available to stay on the island,and my family and I agree that we stayed at the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay...this was a true vacation for my family!!!!!

A beautiful home base for exploring Puerto Villamil.
On our second visit to Puerto Villamil we chose to make our home base for a week at Chez Manany. From the first correspondence, with Paula, via email to make arrangements to meeting Manany upon our arrival at the harbor our experience was seamless.
Chez Manany is a beautifully handcrafted property with several private, airy, and comfortable apartments. The property is backed up against mangrove on one side and lava fields on the other. The neighborhood is typical of island living on Isabela with a few local family compounds visible from the property and the highlands off in the distance.
This is not a beach front property but the upside is that it is a dry, comfortable living space with pretty linens, comfortable beds, and beautiful bathrooms. The kitchen is perfect and we enjoyed our early morning coffee and late night glass of wine- a perfect ending to our action filled days. The property is impeccably clean an maintained. As an aside, we stayed at a lovely beachside high-end hotel last time in Villamil but our suite was uncomfortably damp and musty which made for a soggy week so I very much appreciated the comfort of Chez Manany in this damp coastal environment..
Manany and Wilson were gracious and helpful hosts and oriented us on arrival with where to eat, shop, and had a back-pocket filled with resources for making the most of our time on the island. Manany even phoned tour operators for us to help determine the best days to be on sea or land excursions- based on weather conditions. The tours we booked were direct operator prices- no upcharges for booking through hotels- and wonderful!
Getting around tips: we obtained a phone number of a taxi driver (who answered 3 out 5 times), rented bikes for getting around, walked, and flagged down taxis as needed. The harbor/concha de Perla is a 7 minute walk with our two 8 year olds in tow and the center of town was a 15 minute walk for us. The vehicles used for taxis are double cab pick-up trucks so it is possible to throw your bike in the back of the truck if needed. Our walks/ bike rides/ taxi rides around town to and from the property added authenticity to our experience on Isabela.
We highly recommend this beautiful property- especially for multi- family travelers or groups who are spending at least 3-4 nights on the island.

How to get there
HOW TO GET TO ISABELA ISLAND<BR><BR>To come to us you have two options:<BR> 1.Per Boat: it takes 2 1/2 hours and departs every day at 2 PM. There are several boats departing at the same time. There are some departing in the morning. The price per person round trip is 60 USD.<BR>If you decide to come to us the same day you arrive in Baltra please take into consideration the schedule of boats. You must arrive not later than 11:00 in Baltra in order to catch the boat. it is recommended to be before this time so you can do everything without a hurry. If this is to much for you you can always stay for one night in Santa Cruz and then catch the boat the next day.After arriving in Baltra you have to wait for your baggage and then take the free bus going to the Itabaca Chanel, be sure is this way and NOT to the port for Cruises.<BR>Once in the Itabaca chanel you have to take a boat to Santa Cruz Island, it takes only five minutes and it costs aprox 1 USD after getting to the Island you can decide to take the bus or taxi. If you are in a hurry we recommend you to take the taxi it takes 45 Min and costs 20 USD. But for ecological reasons and if you do not wish to spend to much money you can always take the bus. Once in the port, in Puerto Ayora, you can get your tickets from you agency of preference or if you have booked with us you need to go to Transmartisa office which is next to the Supermercado Insular or next to restaurante “”Salva Vidas”. Once there you will get instruction to get to the boat.<BR>Please notice that it is almost impossible to get tickets for the same day, that is why we highly recommend you to take our booking service to reserve your tickets. Be aware that Chez Manany does not assume any responsabilities for the transportation service we offer you only a booking service. All boats have the same prices and category and we work with Transmartisa.<BR> 2. Per small airplane: It takes 30 min and departs aprox at 12:30 PM from Baltra. There is only one airline flying inter islands> EMETEBE. The price varies often so please visit their website to be sure. The prices is aprox. 350 USD round trip per person. There is also a limit of baggage, please read carefully in their website.<BR> <BR>Please Note: If you are traveling by boat it is important for us to know the name and time of the boat to pick you up and if you are coming with the airplane we must know the time. It will be a pleasure to welcome you in the port in Isabella
