A cosy, traditional Cretan house in a mountainous landscape
We stayed for a week in this cosy, nicely decorated traditional Cretan house. Nothing missing, the house has all the conveniences. The kitchen is large, comfortable, with a huge chimney. There is also a large terrace with all the facilities, including a barbecue, and a spectacular view on the mountains. Jordi was available and helpful. Although Kissamos and the beaches are just 10 min drive, Polirrinia has beautiful natural surroundings with hiking trails and ancient sites. It’s a lovely place which helps you slow down.

Soggiorno piacevole e tranquillo
La casa è una vecchia scuola molto ben ristrutturata. Si trova in un piccolissimo paese immerso nella campagna. Dista circa 7 chilometri di strada, discreta per gli standard Cretesi, da Kissamos paese sul mare dove si trova tutto quel che può servire. La casa è ben attrezzata e dispone di una terrazza coperta da un pergolato attrezzata per poter mangiare. Unico neo è che la cucina si trova al piano terreno e per raggiungere la terrazza ci sono delle scale non molto comode. I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili, e forniscono un servizio di pulizia e cambio biancheria settimanale compreso nel prezzo. La posizione è abbastanza comoda per raggiungere le spiagge più belle della parte occidentale dell' isola.

vacances 2014 dans la Villa Polirrinia
nous avons passé un peu plus de 2 semaines dans ce très joli village de Polirrinia dans la Villa Polirrinia dont les propriétaires, charmants, ont été très attentionnés. La maison est une ancienne école magnifiquement bien restaurée où nous avons passé des soirées, sur la terrasse à regarder les étoiles filantes en écoutant les chouettes. Maison en pierre avec beaucoup de charme dont nous recommandons vivement la location. Catherine

Magnifique
excellent souvenir de cette grande villa on ne peut plus charmante ! C'est isolé dans un village comptant... 15 habitants (!) mais pour qui aime l'authenticité et le calme, cette villa est un must ! La vue est tout simplement sublime et le vieux village de Polirrinia ensorcelant. La villa en elle même est très spacieuse et confortable ; un patio magique à ciel ouvert et une très grande cuisine / salon pour se retrouver le soir. Bref, cette adresse est l'anti Resort par excellence que je conseillerai à tous ceux qui comme nous sont venus entre amis pour sortir des bruits de la ville. Merci à Jordi pour son acceuil tout aussi avenant que sa maison.

We had a wonderful time
Gorgeous house (actually an old school) in a lonely, pretty, little village. House is lovingly decorated and very well equipped. Landlords have been extremely nice, helpful, and anxious to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Both bathrooms are very small. Many mosquitos you have to fight against ... no sun loungers on-site. Next supermarket 7km away. Street to the village very small, tight, and in bad condition, quite dangerous to drive at night.
