The cottage is tucked away on a quiet lane, a short walk from the centre of the village of Godshill, which is often referred to as one of the prettiest villages in the UK. Godshill is famous for its abundance of picturesque thatched cottages, tea rooms, gift shops and of course the model village. In addition, there are a number of pubs and restaurants to choose from, should you wish to dine out. The area is surrounded by unspoilt countryside with several public footpaths and cycle routes heading off in different directions, some of which will take you all the way to the nearby coastal towns of Shanklin and Ventnor. Both of which have their own traditional seaside town appeals and have a variety of independent shops and restaurants, as well as large beaches and promenades. The cottage sleeps up to 4/5 people, and has 3 bedrooms, offering a flexible sleeping arrangement for families or groups of friends. On the ground floor, there is a spacious twin room, and on the first floor you'll find the master double bedroom and an additional single room, along with a modern bathroom. The inviting lounge has a decorative fireplace, exposed beams and stonework. The kitchen diner is fully equipped with a modern appliances including an electric oven & hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is plenty of room for the whole family to dine together. Just off the utility area you will find the downstairs modern shower room. Exiting from the dining area via patio doors will lead you to a covered outside terrace, ideal for an evening drink outside, whilst remaining protected from the elements. A few steps up from the terrace will lead you to the delightful garden and patio area, which adjoins the owners chalet / office whilst maintaining complete privacy for guests. The garden is enclosed and backs onto a wooded area and provides a very peaceful setting for relaxing or dining outside. There is ample parking on the gravel driveway next to the cottage.More
