Located in the old village centre of Sankt Margarethen im Lungau, a short walk from the new ski lift, which will be open for use in the winter of 2018/2019. With views of the ski slopes. You can be sure of snow because of the altitude (1065 m) and the location, and yet it is still easily reached via the A10 motorway, without difficult mountain passes and you can drive up to the front door without using snow chains. All of that together is nothing short of unique. You will be staying in one of the two charming houses in this architect-desigend chalet, built by local craftsmen with a great love of wood. All of that together is nothing short of unique. You will be staying in one of the two charming houses in this architect-desigend chalet, built by local craftsmen with a great love of wood. Traditional construction goes hand in hand with contemporary sustainable techniques and a modern elegant interior with a high-quality finish. The living unit has three floors with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 12 people. (including a 2 person sofa bed on the vide). There are 3 parking spaces in front of the door with a charger for electric/hybrid cars. The interior is of course very luxurious and there is wifi. The living area has a comfortable modern Austrian dining area, a spacious sitting area with large flat screen TV and fireplace (firewood is ready for you) and the luxury kitchen with Siemens appliances and high-quality equipment including 2 coffee machines (filter and Nespresso) to complete it. There is underfloor heating everywhere and through the patio doors you reach the spacious outdoor terrace facing south with terrace table, sofa and (lounge) chairs. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with extra long box-spring beds, a flat screen TV and private bathroom. From the comfortable vide on the third floor, there are large windows for optimal views over the Lungaudal and the mountain tops, there is a TV corner with lounge corner sofa which can be converted into a double bed, and a generous reading/relaxation corner. On the lower floor, the other three bedrooms are all directly connected to the large garden. Two bedrooms each with two extra long separate spacious box spring beds and a private bathroom and flat screen TV. The third bedroom has two generous 'altholz' bunk beds with luxury mattresses (also 2.10m long) and a bathroom in the hallway. Each bedroom has a bed menu: 2 types of mattresses (soft and firm), 2 types of pillows p.p. (orthopedic pillow and soft pillow) and 4 seasons duvet. Here there is also a combination washer/dryer. Outside you have a garden with its own separate outdoor area with (free use) of 2 bicycles, ski warmer, covered lounge seating, separate sauna with outdoor shower and spacious jacuzzi with a view of the beautiful starry sky. The chalet is within walking distance of the ski lift of the Topregio Katschberg-Aineck ski region (70 km of slopes) and about 200 m from the supermarket with fresh bread every day (also delivered to your door) and a quality restaurant at 100 m. You can also reach the 'hotspot' ski area of Obertauern (100 km of slopes) within 25 minutes by car, Ski Grosseck-Speiereck (50 km of slopes) in 5 minutes, and Familieberg Fanningberg in 20 minutes (30 km of slopes), all of these are also accessible with the free ski bus. The cities of Salzburg and Villach, but also Northern Italy, Slovenia and Croatia are easily accessible. In the summer, both active holidaymakers and those looking for peace and quiet can enjoy this wonderful region. Golfing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, rafting, yoga on the mountain and motorcycling on the many beautiful passes in the vicinity are just some of the many ways you can enjoy a fantastic holiday here! During stays from 1 June to 31 October, all guests (except school groups) receive the Lungau card for free. This is a benefits card that grants you free access to the cable cars, swimming pools, museums and much more!.
