Honeysuckle Cottage forms part of the larger courtyard style development in the rural village of Chardstock.

The cottage comprises spacious contemporary accommodation but with modern finishes able to sleep 6 guests comfortably. However an additional two guests can be accommodated at an additional charge. There is a very large lounge / dining room with separate galley kitchen, hall and wc on the ground floor. The first floor includes two double bedrooms (one of which can be used as a twin room or double), the master having an en-suite shower / wc), and a further single bedroom with a single bed and pull out bed underneath, and family bathroom. Bed linen is provided, towels can also be provided at a cost of £5.00 per person to cover the cost of laundering.

We had a great week away with plenty of things to do all within a 30-40 minute drive of the cottage. The cottage was clean and comfortable with plenty of room. Sofas and beds were comfy. The only negatives were the collection of breakable ornaments...More

I am pleased that you had an enjoyable stay in Honeysuckle Cottage. The ornaments are purely for decoration and not of value and I am totally aware that children are inquisitive and therefore any small breakages would not be charged for.

We spent our summer holiday in this cottage with our three boys, and we absolutely loved it. The house is very spacious, the beds very comfortable, the showers / bathrooms great, the towels very fluffy, and there are loads of games to play and DVDs...More

Rented for visiting relations Spacious cottage in peaceful village. Clean and well equipped. Ideal place for exploring countryside and coast Highly recommended

About the neighbourhood
Chardstock has two pubs, The George which is a short walk from the property and serves good home cooked food. The other The Tytherleigh Arms serves Gourmet food. There is a small shop and post office, which sells home made pies and cakes. They sell most essentials and should it not be found on the shelves then they are likely to have it in the stock room. There a many circular walks from the village.

Unfortunately Chardstock Village is not on a bus route. Therefore a car is necessary.
