Villa
Our villa is outstanding for its quiet and secluded location with magnificent views over the surrounding hills and olive groves, and yet close to some of the most beautiful hilltop villages in the Var - still unspoilt by tourism. It is for the exclusive use of our visitors and we only accept one booking at a time. 2 years' ago, we added a large spa, and this winter, we added a sauna and covered veranda, together with shower, toilet and relaxed seating area.
The villa is located between the hills / mountains / lakes of the Gorge du Verdon and similar areas and the Mediterranean coast with its many creeks, towns and places of cultural interest. However, many of our guests are just happy staying local.
The villa itself is a haven of calm both inside and outside, decorated with tasteful prove...

Merveilleux
Un vrai coin de paradis en montagne sans aucun vis à vis et une vue splendide, tout est à disposition pour passer un séjour inoubliable en famille, détente, jeux, piscine, sauna jacuzzi etc...
Une maison où l'on se sent chez nous où les propriétaires ont mis tout leurs amours pour que rien ne manque (même des jeux de société,DVD,livre etc..,.), près de jolie petits villages typique, des paysages extraordinaire. Le mobilier intérieur et extérieur est vraiment à la hauteur....
J'ai rarement vu une villa aussi belle avec tout l'équipement, sans compter le contact avec les propriétaires qui sont a votre écoute ainsi que Nuccia qui nous a accueilli avec une grande gentillesse et qui est présente pour répondre à vos questions.
Toute la famille gardent un grand souvenir et espère y retourner.

Lovely villa for a relaxing holiday
The villa was really lovely and perfect for our party of 6 adults - 3 couples. Each couple had their own bathroom and there were lots of little areas to spend time together or separately. The pool area was beautiful with plenty of subeds/shaded areas and the hot tub was a fun extra. The facilities for cooking were great and the outdoor eating areas so lovely we didn’t feel the need to go out to eat.
Claviers village can be reached on foot in about 30 mins from the villa. It’s quite a steep walk uphill but enjoyable and fine for anyone with reasonable mobility. The villa was also perfect for our puppy as it was so secluded and safe. The wifi was good for those who needed to work from the villa. We all had a fantastic holiday, didn’t want to leave and would love to return one day!

Away from it all
The perfect place if you are looking to get away from the hussle and bussle of every day city life. We spent 3 weeks here during August, surrounded by forest, much appreciated was the peace and tranquility, no close neighbours, nice pool and the house with all you needed and large beds (not often found). A car is a necessity. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful house and pool, glorious location.
We had the most wonderful time, glorious weather, fabulous house and brilliant pool, we all agreed we hadn’t had such a relaxed holiday EVER!!!! We stayed at the house more than we normally do because it was SO relaxing and peaceful, it has done us all the world of good, I only wish we could have stayed for a month….or even longer!!! We love the area and have stayed in Seillans and Fayence before but had actually never been to Claviers which was lovely and we had a delicious meal in l’Olivier. Nuccia (the housekeeper} was lovely and her husband and daughter did a fabulous job on the pool and what a gorgeous temperature, I have to close my eyes every now and then and remember gently floating…..bliss!!!

Un petit coin de paradis...
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans votre villa. Tout était parfait, encore mieux que sur les photos. Les enfants étaient ravis; ils ont bien profité des installations: piscine, jacuzzi, terrain de volley, badmington, ping pong, foot... Ils ne souhaitent qu'une chose, revenir l'an prochain!
La maison et le terrain sont arrangés avec beaucoup de goût: Un endroit idéal pour passer d'agréables vacances.
Paul, Tom, Anna, Marion, Benoît, Mathieu, Noémie, Claude, Marie-Christine et le chien Nesta vous remercient!

Eine Oase der Ruhe, perfekt für einen entspannten, ruhigen Urlaub.
Mein Mann und ich waren bereits zum zweiten Mal an diesem wundervollen Ort. Das Haus bietet alles was man sich wünscht. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und der grosse Garten einfach herrlich. Dieses Jahr waren wir Anfang Juni für 10 Tage dort, leider war das Wetter etwas durchzogen. Immer mal wieder kam ein Regenschauer, so dass wir keine grösseren Ausflüge machten sondern mehrheitlich ums Haus blieben. Das war aber nicht weiter schlimm, denn es gab genug Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten. Der Jacuzzi war rege in Gebrauch und ist für uns ein absolutes Highlight. Der Pool ist sehr grosszügig und lädt zum Schwimmen ein. Auch die Betreuung vor Ort ist sehr hilfsbereit und empfehlenswert.
Wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen und freuen uns bereits jetzt darauf.

Lieu magique dans l'arrière-pays provençal
L'endroit est fantastique, en plein milieu de la nature, entouré de forêts, de montagnes et de pittoresques villages perchés ! C'est une maison très agréable, idéale pour les familles ou entre amis, avec un beau jardin, une magnifique piscine et un superbe bain à remous. Les propriétaires sont adorables et font tout ce qu'ils peuvent pour vous rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir !

It's a beautiful home in a lovely rural setting for relaxing, and great restaurants nearby
Great place for a holiday. The house is obviously lived in so has all the necessary furnishings to make it comfortable and welcoming to guests. Lovely to have swimming pool, jacuzzi and ping pong all provided. Sunny spot with loads of space to relax with a book or be sociable with friends. Lots of walks nearby but I didn't go on any - too nice to sit around and talk instead. The restaurants recommended by the hosts were great and took us around the area.

Oui, la villa est superbe, aussi bien à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur.
La piscine ne pourrait être mieux placée.
Les propriétaires ont pensé à tout ....
Elle est idéale pour une grande famille.
Le site est très agréable.

About the neighbourhood
Claviers is a delightful unspoilt French village, dating from the 14th century, situated mid-distance between the coast and the Alps at 400 meters elevation. There are 3 restaurants, a bakery, bar and general store, plus a wide choice of restaurants in the nearby picturesque villages of Fayence, Callas, Bargemon, Seillans etc - each with their local market and excellent choice of restaurants and bars. The villa is in a quiet rural section next to an olive grove and vineyards; a small path takes you into the village. We also provide information on a wide range of walks in the area. For enthusiasts of golf, gliding, skiing, art and music festivals, we also happy to provide information about how to make the most of your holiday time with us.
Getting around
It is a 20 minute walk, uphill, from the villa to Claviers village center - and there are many walks all around - both near, and further afield. If not, it's great to hop into the car and explore either the mountains of the Verdon or the Esterel, or to go to the many coastal charms of the Mediterranean - antique Roman towns, beaches and fishing villages, islands - everything displaying the joys of the Mediterranean culture and famed provençal light.

By air: To Nice (Easyjet, Jet2, Air France, British Airways etc.), Toulon or Marseilles (45 mins to 1 hour by rental car). By train: To Aix en Provence (high speed train from Paris in 3 hours, and then 1 hour by rental car), or to Les Arcs or St. Raphaël. By car: Channel tunnel or ferry and then 1 to 2 days drive either by motorway (exist is just 30 minutes from Claviers) or country roads, including the famous Route Napoleon.
