Great Villa
We had a wonderful time at Beach White Villa. We were 3 couples over 50, and the Villa was just what we needed. It is across the street from the best snorkeling beach in Aruba. Less than two blocks away is another beach with a bar, and beach chairs for rent. We love the balcony with the constant breeze. The bedrooms are air condition but the rest of the house was not. That did not bother us. We cooked breakfast every morning but eat out at a different restaurant every night. You will definitely will want to rent a car to get around. Eagle and Palm beach are over five miles away. That is where we went to dinner. Viiola and her assistants were very helpful. The only slight negative is the furniture was a little worn. The furniture felt fine and was not a problem for us. We will definitely rebook.

Awesome!!!
Awesome accommodations, awesome location! This place is perfect. Walk right out the door, and only a few steps to great snorkeling at Boca Catalina Beach. Two minute walk north and you are at the beautiful white sand beach of Arashi Beach. Very, very nice bedrooms and bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, and an absolutely amazing terrace with both sun and shade areas, and an amazing view of the water. The Beach White Villa is truly amazing and awesome!

Way better than a hotel
This place is awesome. You have everything you need in terms of the comforts of home and space (the Villa has 4 bedrooms and, depending on availability, you can add one on). You are in an upscale neighborhood with a fantastic terrace that looks right out across Catalina Cove, basically at the northwest point of the island (great for snorkeling; the owner rents snorkeling equipment at a very reasonable weekly rate). It is also a 2 minute walk to Arashi beach, which is beautiful with calm waves. It is a 2 minute drive to the California lighthouse. If you rent a UTV, this gives you easy access to the off-road "course" beyond Arashi and the lighthouse, which is a thrilling and explorative adventure all it's own. Because Aruba isn't all that big overall, if you rent a car (we did - also highly recommend Drive 4 Cheap Aruba), you can still see and check out everything there is to see a across this one happy island. I can't honestly imagine going back to Aruba and staying anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Location, location, location!
In real-estate the 3 most important things are location, location, location. Well, that should also be the mantra for picking your vacation destination. Eagle, Palm and Arashi beaches are all beautiful, but I would say Arashi is nicer because you aren’t sharing it with thousands of people. The other major plus for this location is the snorkeling. My wife and I love to go snorkeling, and we went every day – sometimes 2 or 3 times a day! In less than a minute you can be in the water, and you don’t have to pay to go out on one of the boats. We tended to go in the morning, before the boats started arriving, and then later in the day, after the boats had gone. We even went out a few times at night with flashlights, definitely worth trying. I expected to love the beach and the snorkeling, but the trail that wraps around the north end of the Island was a real treat for those of us who like to go on morning or evening walks. The waves crashing into the rocky shoreline are spectacular. The property manager, Veronika, is super nice and helpful. She’s in the office downstairs during most of the day, and if not she’s just a phone call away. They have a vehicle you can rent, but in our case Veronika arranged our Jeep rental – which went without a hitch. The property is clean, private and quiet – except for when the party busses go by, which is actually fun. The views from the large terrace are amazing. We ate every meal out there. There’s air conditioning in the bedrooms, which was helpful. We hadn’t been to Aruba in the summer before, and it was definitely hotter and more humid than in January. The kitchen doesn’t have air, but that wasn’t an issue. The terrace is great in the morning and evening. In the mid-day it gets pretty hot up there, so we found that we had to spend the afternoons at the beach. Not a problem. Your satisfaction will depend on what you like to do and the type of experience you want. Think of this as your beach house, not an all-inclusive 5 star resort with cabana boys to bring you drinks. If I had a beach house it would not be as nice as my everyday house. We would stock it with our older kitchen stuff and linens, and it might not have AC everywhere, but I would be on vacation and it’s at the beach! Everyone in our group LOVED their stay at Beach White Villa!! We may not all be back again as a group, but my wife and I are already looking forward to coming back and staying in one of their one bedroom units.

Oh, the patio...how I miss the patio
We always prefer to rent homes/apartments over hotels when we travel (married couple, no kids, traveled with a friend this time), and this is probably my favorite rental ever. What looks like a huge and beautiful single-family home from the street is actually arranged as multiple rentals with an onsite office. Think boutique, authentically local, all-suite rentals, but each rental is its own unique and private semi-detached home. The Villa is the entire top floor and felt incredibly private and safe while still airy and open, as you want from an ocean view property. Staff respect your privacy but are accessible when you have a question or if you want to book an excursion. The perfect balance! I will ONLY stay here when I return to Aruba. The amazing and huge outdoor patio looking over Catalina Cove is to die for. We enjoyed many morning coffees, charcuterie and rose lunches, drinks catching the sunset over the water, and late nights playing cards and star-gazing from one of the multiple seating areas in this amazing and private outdoor living space. Over 1/3 of the patio area is covered with a ceiling fan for circulation, but the natural breezes keep things comfortable. We also appreciated the outdoor shower for rinsing our snorkeling gear (you can rent gear from the owner if you don't have your own). Inside, the large kitchen makes a great interior headquarters (with direct access to the private patio, master bedroom, large bathroom and the hallway to the other bedrooms, bathrooms and front door). The kitchen window opens wide, like french doors, bringing in a lovely breeze and a partial sea view. There is plenty of counter space and a large table. Parking is on the street, with overflow right at Catalina Cove across the street. If you like to be independent and explore on your own, rent a car, but cabs are highly accessible and the public bus drives by often. Arashi and Boca Catalina are within 3 minute walks in opposite directions of the house. These "home beaches", Baby Beach (about 40 minute drive) and Mangel Halto (about 30 minute drive) were our favorites: great local spots for snorkeling, not overrun by commercial vendors and water sports. However, we would use the phone outside of the office each night to call an 11$ (USD) cab to the Palm Beach (high-rise) area for dinner and drinks. Memorize your address and you can get a return cab from any hotel lobby at any time of the night for 11 or 12$. AC in each bedroom worked very well, good water pressure and decent temperature. Our interactions with Veronika (and Mike!) were always helpful and very pleasant! THANK YOU so much for making Aruba amazing!! It wouldn't have been the same had we stayed anywhere else.

Loved the location and view!!
My wife, three children and sister in law spent a week on the 2nd floor of Viola's back in 2015. We loved how close we were to the snorkel beach across the street! My 8 year old learned to snorkel here, and we even saw a large Octopus! There were TONS of fish, and schools of squid too. Viola hooked us up on all our beach needs, and she had lots of tips on where to dine and purchase local groceries! I made guacamole each afternoon and we enjoyed the picnic table and view from our terrace in the afternoon and during lunch! I did get eaten up by mosquitoes, so if youre inclined to be bitten, make sure you bring some bug spray, even with the wonderful breezes at night! We snorkeled each morning, and went to the swim beach each afternoon, it was a short walk down the street. The water was warm and clear, and the boys loved playing on the boogie boards ini the surf. The island is easy to navigate, and the locals very friendly! I would love to stay here again, and wouldn't hesitate to rent from Viola again!

Perfect Christmas Vacation
This was the perfect location for a week in Aruba. The highlight was drift snorkeling every morning from Boca Cove up to Arashi Beach about 8:30am before all the tourist boats and catamarans pulled up. We were able to enter the water right across the street from the house! We were greeted each morning by a football-sized dog-faced puffer fish, cowfish, sergeant majors, angelfish, grunts, damsels, parrotfish, trumpets and wrasses. They are used to being fed in this area, and we were there with our leftover breakfast toast each morning! Literally hundreds (if not thousands) of fish in this area. Medium visibility underwater due to strong winds and nightly rain. The residence on the top floor provided all the room we needed for 5 adults. Kitchen was adequately stocked with cooking gear. We cooked bacon and eggs each morning. Gas range and oven both worked well. All four bedrooms are air-conditioned, but the kitchen opens to the patio, so it can get a bit hot in there while cooking. The owners requested that we change out towels no more often than every 3rd day, but that was more than sufficient. The patio is a great place to relax after dark. Being slightly away from the touristy area allows for a great view of the stars. The area is residential and quiet at night. Folks susceptible to mosquito bites might want some bug spray for hanging out on the patio at night. Some of us were attacked, but others were left alone. Arashi beach, about 200 yards up the street, is a nice sandy beach with free palapas, a beach bar/snack bar, and guys renting out chairs and umbrellas. It seemed very chill and a good spot for families. Also, the owner rented us a car for the week at a reasonable rate, which made trips to the grocery store, sightseeing, lunches at Zeerover, and casino-hopping very accessible. Navigating around the island is easy, as locals are incredibly friendly and helpful with giving directions. All in all, one of the best week-long vacations I have ever taken. All the members of my group were in agreement that the residence attributed greatly to our enjoyment.

FABULOUS
Our stay at the Beach White Villa was absolutely fabulous, even with Hurricane Matthew making waves on the beach. The snorkeling beach and Arashi (we called it the bobbing beach because you could take a drink in a Tervis tumbler and just bob up and down in the water) Beach were right at our doorstep. The villa is at the end of the island where it is nice and quiet and relaxing. Sitting on the deck in the evening had an awesome view. Would definitely rent there again. Thank you Veronika and Viola.
