The Corriveau condo also has a fully-equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, on-site parking, fresh towels and linens, unlimited free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating, a flat screen television with cable and a DVD player, and anything else you might need to feel at home on your travels. Moreover, the Royal Dalhousie is only a few minutes’ walk from all the most popular attractions in Old Quebec including the Chateau Frontenac, the Petit Champlain neighbourhood, the Notre Dame Basilica, Saint Jean Street, the Parliament, and of course, the Saint-Lawrence River. We look forward to hosting you in our beautiful historic city of Old Quebec, be it in the beautiful Corriveau Condo or any other one of our luxurious condos here at the Royal Dalhousie. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us, it will be our pleasure to help you in planning your unforgettable stay in Old Quebec. A little bit of history: It is in this location that Samuel de Champlain constructed the first habitation in Quebec; a farm and a shed. The location was named after Louis XIV and is one of the last remaining relics of 17th & 18th century buildings in North America. It is from this location that the beginnings of New France began to develop some 400 years ago. Restaurants, antique shops, art galleries, and museums are located only minutes from this location. Step outside this condo and within minutes you will realize why Old Quebec has been designated a U.N.E.S.C.O. World Heritage Site. In 2002, Hollywood went looking for a site location for the European scenes in the 'Catch Me If You Can' movie starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio. If you have seen the movie, or if you plan to watch it, you will see Quebec City during the scenes where Hanks chases DiCaprio through the streets of France. The turning point when Hanks captures DiCaprio is supposed to be in Paris, France, but it is actually shot about one minute away from this condo! At the Royal Dalhousie we invite you to step into a luxury condo to begin your vacation memories, but then... to step out into 400 years of history. SKI Season Special: Why not consider staying in Old Quebec City during your upcoming ski trip? We are located in between the Mont Ste-Anne, Le Massif and Stoneham ski mountains. This would be the perfect base for those looking at a week holiday, but maybe not looking to ski every day. On your off day, 400 years of history awaits you as you wander through the cobble stone streets of Place Royale. If you have any questions, please contact us on our toll free number and we will be happy to help you. Merci et au plaisir de vous rencontrer!
