Velanidia is a village located in Laconia of Peloponnese, in the southernmost part of continental Greece. Its architecture and natural environment resemble Islands of the Aegean. There are narrow picturesque alleys with total absence of cars and remarkable trekking trails. Within short distances, one can visit the Byzantine castle-town of medieval Monemvasia, the magnificent Kastania Cave, the world famous Elafonisos (Simos beach) and much more.
