Coming to San Jose? Why stay in a Hotel if you can rent this brand new, modern apartment fully furnished and equipped. We have a new building with 6 apartments. Each apartment with a large bedroom with full size bed, fully equipped kitchen, living, dining room 32 inch TV. Free WI-FI. Washer and dryer area.Maid service, sheets, towels, amennities (shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion) provided.Very quiet. Fantastic rental in a very convenient location
I spent 3 nights in the Cerar Cats Apartment, in San Jose'. I was in the city for work; I only have good things to say about my stay. The apartments are simple yet with all the conveniences of an hotel and more - the advantage of having your own kitchen is not to be underestimated when you travel!! - Only a couple of blocks away there is a AM/PM store where you can buy food and drinks; close to San Pedro, the University area. The owner very friendly and the service in general, i would say, excellent. I will recommend them to everybody I know who travels to San Jose!
Ah... and it was very easy to go to the airport form the Apartments ...!

Un lugar super tranquilo en San Pedro
Estuve alojada en los apartamentos Cedar Cats y me parecio super lindo! me senti muy comoda como si estuviera en mi misma casa! Son nuevos y tranquilos, hay de todo para cocinar, hacen limpieza diaria, hay servicio de lavanderia y hay muchas facilidades alrededor, supermercado y buses, muy accesible a San Pedro y San Jose. Me encanto!

I felt at home.
I have stayed at the Cedar Cats apartments for 1 week. I was in San Jose for a work related conference and I was pleasantly surprised of how beautiful they are. Positives:
- Very clean
- Simple yet very convenient (washer and dryer, wifi, kitchen)
- Great location – well served with transportation and with two stores close by for last minutes grocery shopping
Negatives: I do not have any for now. I plan to use them again when I go back to San Jose’ and I will recommend them to anybody who has to stay in the city.

Best place to stay at in San Jose
We stayed at Cedar Cats for 3 weeks and enjoyed every day of it. The apartment is brand new, comfortable, very clean, safe and you will find everything you need starting with a fully equipped kitchen in every apartment and washer/dryer for free use. The daily maid service is very friendly. You can reach the city center and downtown very quickly with bus or taxi (bus around 50 USD Cents).
Best thing about staying here, are your hosts. We have not meet such friendly and caring people during trips in foreign countries, absolutely perfect!! Thank you again and we wish you all the best :)

I love this place!
I am in love with this place. I can't even explain how helpful and kind Mari and Fernando are. They have made being in Costa Rica so much easier and better. I initially was going to only stay a week at their place and within a few days decided to stay a month, and most likely longer. The apartment is very nice. Modern. Which was a big plus for me. It's easy to hop on a bus right outside the apartment and go to downtown San Jose. There are other stores and restaurants in walking distance. I feel safe here because the building is secure. It has everything I need. And having Mari and Fernando as hosts just makes it even better!

nice and calm place , close to everywhere and with a amazing night landscape
Maribel and Fernando , where so nice with us , helping us to find supermarkets and interested place for our necessities . The best place to stay even better than a hotel , the price the place and everything was wonderful . I'm really happy to find such a kind couple .

Confortable, la decoracion tiene un ambiente sereno.
El apartamento es muy comodo, tiene todo lo que uno necesita si quieres cocinar, por lo general nosotros almorzabamos fuera pero desayunabamos algo rapido ahi mismo , lo que simplificaba nuestro dia. Los duenos Fernando y Marie hiciero todo lo posible por que estuvieramos comodas, hasta nos anadieron un colchon, ya que la cama le quedaba muy bajita a mama. Hay 2 lavadoras y una secadora en caso que las necesites. Mucho mejor opcion que un simple cuarto de hotel. La decoracion es serena, muy limpio, no le falta nada.
Definitivamente me hospedare ahi si tengo que regresar a Costa Rica.

Modern, comfortable, great location
We stayed 3 nights at Cedar Cats. We were pleasantly surprised by the well kept new building. It is conveniently located to bus routes heading downtown. The bus stop is across the street. It's a quiet, very clean, secure building. We liked the access to the free laundry facility in the building. The kitchen was basic with all we needed to prepare some meals. The owners of the building were there to help us in anything we needed. The location is walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. We highly recommend this place and we will certainly be back.

Ótimo espaço
Começando com o ótimo espaço livre para circulação, o apartamento está muito bem equipado. Há também disponível na área externa uma lavanderia com duas máquinas e uma secadora que funcionam bem. A localização, ainda que distante do centro de San Jose, é facilitada com linhas de ônibus que passam e param bem diante do imóvel. A região é segura, com muitos prédios de instituições de ensino.
Para quem tem dificuldade para dormir (que não é o meu caso), o barulho da rua e a claridade pela grande janela de vidro podem atrapalhar.
O atendimento por parte do proprietário e o serviço diário de limpeza são excelentes.

So very nice! Modern and extremely clean.
My stay was for two nights. It was my first time to San Jose. I am very lucky to have found this place to stay at. It was clean and safe.
It made my trip to San Jose a great one.

Cedar Cats is a building with 6 apartments. Because we do not have a front desk, we need to know your arrival time in order to give you the keys.Please let us know the following information:
1) Itinerary (airline, arrival time, flight number)
2) Will you drive a rental car or will you take a taxi?
3) Where will you be arriving from (If you will be arriving from the airport or from any other place in Costa Rica).
Transportation:
• We offer a taxi service from the airport to the apartments. The cost is $ 37.00 and we need your arrival details 3 days in advance in order to confirm the booking. Our driver, will wait for you outside the airport with a sign with your name on it.
Other transportation options are:
Taxi:
• Arriving at the airport, you can take a taxi from the company Taxis Unidos (orange cars parked outside the airport). The service is safe and reliable. The cost is $45 and you pay the service directly to the driver.
Rent a car:
• If you decide to rent a car, this is our address: San Pedro, From Universidad Fidelitas 100 meters East and 400 meters North, next to Cecudi. Another reference is 25 meters East from Universidad Cenfotec.
