Overview
Holiday Rental House -
4 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms , Sleeps 8
San Miguel de Allende, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast
This lovely 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house including casita, has just been redone with influences from India, Thailand and of course, Mexico. The owners have traveled the world to decorate this house with a colonial feel. The house also includes art and folk art by local San Miguel and other Mexican artists.

The house is located in Ojo de Agua, just south of Juarez Park and is a 15 minute, flat walk into town. You get the luxury of being close, but the serenity of being removed from the hustle and bustle of the historical district.

The house has a lovely garden with fountain and an interior light well with a second fountain that fills the entire house with its peaceful sound.

There are 3 bedrooms in the main house with 3 king beds. One of the kings can convert into 2 twins for flexibility. 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The master suit...

Interaction with guests
My local agent will arrange for transportation and will have someone there to greet you upon our arrival. My house manager is available 24 hours if there is an issues with water, electricity, internet or cable TV. I have a housekeeper who is there every day except for Sunday and a gardener who is there 2.5 days a week. Francisca will cook breakfast and lunch. She will also cook dinner you and leave it in the refrigerator before she leaves or will come back in the evening for a small hourly charge. She will make beds, clean and do your laundry if required.

Absolutely loved it! The pictures don't do it justice. Such a beautiful and cozy home, and bigger than I expected. The decor was authentic to the town and the owners travels; artisan gems throughout. Close enough to town, yet not in the middle of the...More

About the neighbourhood
The house is a 15 minute walk to the Jardin. It is located in a quiet, safe residential neighborhood with many Europeans, Canadians and Americans living there full time.
Getting around
You can easily walk into town and to restaurants and shopping. Local taxis are available and are very reasonable. I recommend taking a taxi home at night after dark. My driver Carlos Sanchez can take you out to the wineries, the pyramids, to Atotonilco plus day trips to Guanajuato or Queretaro

How to get there
You will need a driver, which can be arranged from the airports in Leon/Guanajuato (BJX) and Queretaro (QRO). A driver can be arranged from the Mexico City airport if you desire. Buses are available from the Mexico City airport to Queretaro and then to San Miguel. From the Mexico City north bus terminal there are frequent buses to San Miguel. You can then take a local taxi to the house. If you decide to drive, which I don't recommend, there is a garage for your use during your stay.
