This charming cottage is set in an enviable location on the edge of Gillamoor,an attractive North York Moors village,with the picturesque village of Hutton-le-Hole (2.5 miles) nearby. A few miles in the other direction is the pretty town of Kirkbymoorside (also 2.5 miles) and vibrant market towns like Pickering (10 miles) and Helmsley (8 miles),both with an abundance of good restaurants,tearooms and independent shops. Beyond the village lies the glorious sight of the North York Moors,with heather-covered hills,ancient woodlands and beautiful rivers. The Yorkshire coast is about thirty miles away,or you could head inland to Castle Howard (15 miles) or the North Riding Forest Park (17.5 miles). There's also a choice of books and magazines to browse. You will find a pleasant dining area,and the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven,dishwasher,fridge/freezer and microwave. Going upstairs,there are two cosy bedrooms - a king-size room with an en-suite shower room,and a bedroom with both a single and a double bed. Both bedrooms enjoy uninterrupted views over the garden and the moor. There is also a family bathroom complete with a shower over the bath. To the front of the cottage is a peaceful courtyard,and to the rear you will find a large and idyllic country garden with a generous manicured lawn. Stretching down to the mature trees at the bottom,it's the perfect spot to enjoy a BBQ or a picnic. A shared laundry room with a washing machine and dryer is also available for use. More
